I tend to agree. However, I believe Ali Adler was sort of / kind of pushed away from the show either for "creative differences" - whatever that might mean - or for political reasons (again, interpret this as you wish), not by her choice.

Since we're not privy to that kind of information as members of the general public, we have to rely on the official party line as to the reasoning for her departure. Since she is committed to working full-time on the rebooted version of Dynasty, it is unlikely that she would be able to contribute more than what her current official Supergirl production role title describes - Executive Creative Consultant. Bringing her back this season may be more of a logistical issue than anything, or it may be that the higher-ups do not require / desire her presence to continue the series and have opted to go with alternate showrunners (i.e. Queller and Rovner) instead.

However, having said this, the current issue concerning Kreisberg's conduct and actions over the years will have an impact on all of the Berlanti Production shows he was / is directly involved with, namely The Flash and Supergirl. The actors / crew and staff on all shows have probably been told not to publicly discuss (either through interviews or social media; gag orders if you will) the controversy or their insider knowledge of events they may have witnessed or been subject to until the investigation / testimonies and applicable actions / remedies have been taken. This is the reason for the blanket media silence.

As it pertains to Berlanti and Schechter, they are very likely working damage control and co-operating with WB's internal investigation and any law enforcement investigation that may be underway. To put it mildly, they will be very, very busy and will also likely be subject of some very, very hard questions of their own from WB and the authorities in Los Angeles and Vancouver.

I think most of the questions will be on the main office staff in California.....that seems to be where most of the allegations are coming from. Writing staff, etc, is all in LA so I have a feeling a good majority of the investigation will be there and the shooting schedule will go on as always.

One the of the teachers at the high school I graduated from only 2 years ago was busted as a pedophile lately. Read it on the local news. He and I only had a few interactions so wasn’t really impacting to me personally but the news made me reinterpret every time he touched a student. A lot of the people I know were pretty shocked, some had been close to him during younger years. I always thought there was something fishy with the school but not that guy.

Relating back to Kresiberg I guess you never really know who people are and what they do. I can only hope for as awareness increases less people in public industries will have indecent tendencies, and those who do seek help before they act on it.

as much as this disgusts me i hope that this does not affect the shows, like delaying them, making the less quality, bad plot points, or worst of all have them cancelled.

None of that is going to happen, this season is already planned out, most scripts written or in the process, the one that he would have most definitely been a part of the crossover is already in the can, the funding for the season is already there......all they need to do is keep the team they have in place and replace him....which they will do and they will move on from this.

You will begin to see AK's name taken off of this or that, and the Arrowverse will continue on.

Emily Bett Rickards also said her piece, interestingly mentioning "reverse sexism" that to me is counter to Marc G's tweet today.

I think the stars are drawing the line and putting out the message that they won't be intimidated by threat of reprisals from the executives.

Writing out a character is a form of reprisal in that business, a known fact.

We have remained uncharacteristically quiet about this topic since it launched on Friday evening. Kelsey and I have been in a state of shock. We took the weekend to discuss how we were feeling and what was our position. In the end, Kelsey couldn't have done a better job. I defer to her point of view as a woman, as a person of mixed race, and as a person who experienced sexual harassment several times in her life as well. Her thoughts on the topic and the official point of view of this site can be found on the news section.

A point should be raised that while he is being investigated we should not act like he is already guilty

Just want to add that it must be a hard time for the cast and crew anyways, so harassing them in addition to that for "not standing up" is really the wrong thing to do.

Even if they didn't know anything about it, and have not been at the receiving end, this would still make a person introspect and re-look at everything they knew about Kriesberg; not to mention wondering what could have happened behind their backs in relation to themselves and people they care for.

So, if people are harassing Chris (and I heard Melissa too) over this, those people need to be flagged (or whatever it is you do in social media to make it stop). And hopefully, the actors themselves won't see it. Katie at least is thankfully not on social media. (I think others will soon retire too, for their own sanity's sake if they had that option).
