this would literally be the worst way to end the series, disrespectful of Kara's growth and other interests, and in no way has the Mon-el character 'grown' enough to warrant having her return to her and call it a 'happily ever after'. this is nothing more than a cop-out by writers or a contractual obligation from when the actor bowed out of the series earlier than was planned.

#Supergirl is officially WRAPPED their last ever location shoot.
The final location was the Poppy Estate Golf Course.
Tomorrow (Friday) is the last ever day of filming, in studio.

Knowing this was coming means it’s not a shock but doesn’t do anything to diminish the sadness. The show ending is going to be an exercise in going through the stages of grief, minus denial. Taking comfort in knowing it’s getting a planned ending, not every TV show does.

I still wish we got a 7th season, just so the final season wasn't hindered by COVID, so Kara could have had a proper final interaction with her friends outside of the Supergirl cast. Based on Melissa's "saying goodbye to this glyph" post, I'm honestly not that confident she'll be back for Flash's event episodes. I want it...but I'm not confident it will happen.

Pretty much my feelings to a T.I'm glad the show is ending under it's own power but it feels like a missing element if we don't have one final interaction between Kara & Barry and Kara & Clark.Hell I want one for Kara & Kate too given that the Batwoman season finale had Kate saying she was going to visit her friend in National City.But I'm not confident right this second in Melissa appearing in the Flash five episode event for a meet up with Barry.The Flash still has two weeks to go before it starts filming season 8.I don't see Melissa sticking around a few extra weeks to appear and I don't see her leaving Vancouver and coming back to appear in one of the five episodes.

That’s a series wrap on @supergirlcw thank you to all the amazing cast and crew. It was the ride of a lifetime. Even though yesterday was our last day, it still doesn’t really feel like it’s over yet because the back half of our season still has to air. So get ready for some kick-ass episodes and an ending you’re all going to love.

I wonder, if Melissa presumably doesn't want to do it, if there is any chance that anybody else from Supergirl would take part in the Flash crossover event. I could picture Dreamer being a really good fit. I think she would have a fun dynamic with Barry.

It's Thomas Lennon. I had the privilege of being on-set during an outdoor shoot, and Thomas Lennon was there. Little starstruck, if I'm honest.

I wonder whether they will use the last season to do anything crazy like another musical episode or a body swap episode or another what if episode like 100. With imps and phantoms as the villains they could do tons of crazy stuff.

THe DCtvshow has exclusive info about the finale in his latest video..He was told by a source that episode 19 & 20 will air together as a two part series finale from 8pm to 10pm..

That makes sense and has been speculated on happening.

DCTV is one of the comparatively more nice ones, but man i just hate those youtube speculation and analysis video and how they always feel the need to drag out everything they say in the interest of video length. Use 1000 words when you could have done it in 10.

DCTV has a bad habit of spouting speculation as news.

In reality, airing the last two together was the only option, based on the premiere date, finale date, and number of episodes left in-between.

Stargirl will air it's final season 2 episode on November 2nd, in it's paired slot with Supergirl. Then, on November 9th, Supergirl will air it's last two episodes, using both it's and Stargirl's slot.

Then, The Flash will premiere a week later, on November 16th.
