I wonder why CW keeps using the Marvel-esque "Earth's mightiest heroes" tagline for crossovers

So that new poster is interesting, didnt realize red tornado and what appears to be metallo will appear. Also interested in seeing what the deal is with Prometheus X

Most ironic thing is how I feel about Kara in Supergirl vs Crossovers.

In Supergirl I'm like, she should get beat up once, she's always winning.
In crossovers it like, why does she always get owned? She should win all the time

I compare it to a favorite singer or a favorite sports team. We know that they're going to have moments when they falter but, in the end, we want them to win all the awards and outshine their counterparts. Supergirl is our superhero. Sure, there are others that are good but, when it gets down to it, we want her to be the one to show off her skills and to get the glory.

I don't know why.. But, I really like the idea that we are team Supergirl and team Kara... We are cheerleaders for Supergirl.

So in your opinion if Melissa doesn’t spend “enough” time in the blue suit the crossovers are like last year? You’re not going to be happy if Overgirl is the leader of the villains? Are you counting time as Kara? Why do screentime for Supergirl and Overgirl have to be separate? The two characters took the same amount of Melissa’s time. Are you also saying Green/Black Arrow are separate? For me the only separate hero/villain combo will be Flash/Reverse Flash because they’re not played by the same actor.

Same actor, but separate characters despite being identical. This isn't about the actors, but their characters.

Earth-X Overgirl is a separate entity from Supergirl. I would count time as both Supergirl and Overgirl. If Melissa spends more time as Overgirl, that's screentime for Overgirl and not Supergirl. Yes, this also applies to both Green Arrow and Dark Arrow.

During Smallville, we used to count screentimes for the characters in the forums. When Tom Welling played Clark and Ultraman Clark, we had to count separate screentimes for both characters he played.

It's character screentime, not actor screentime.

Someone else came up with a possibility that the heroes captured Overgirl and that Supergirl and several other heroes may take her place to infiltrate and discover Earth-X Thawne's plans.

I’m impartial to the dispute about Kara screentime etc as no matter how it turns out I’m largely satisfied, but why so aggressive? Sounds like you’re interrogating him, what did he say that was so wrong?

I second this notion, I think we can agree to disagree, shake hands and move on. I mean the new extended trailer has me more excited than Justice League and that is saying something!

I took a screenshot of Alex meeting Winn's doppelganger. I wonder how Alex would feel seeing Winn there (if she hasn't been warned about doppelgangers).

Winn/Jeremy carries the scruffy look really well. He should make it a permanent feature .

It is possible and it will feel very twisted when that will be revealed in the crossover. I wonder if the real Kara will pull a disgusted face like what she did after finding Winn and Shioban Smythe come out of the storage room...

Apparently a twitter user saw Stephen Amell playing 'two truths and a lie' at a convention when asked about the crossover , saying that Oliver would kiss 1) Kara, 2) Felicity, or 3) Diggle and then said "he would kiss someone who...isnt here" and you can see both Diggle and Felicity's actors on the stage.
