Hey, Kiwi...

I know you are our unofficial episode thread starter. But since there's been discussions scattered throughout the forum already concerning the crossover, are you down with me starting this one?

I swear. Dish seems to have problems with EVERYone when it comes to not coming to an agreement. This is like the 4th channel I've heard of in like a year and a half that got dropped for a week or so due to contract dispute.
Well they are the low man on the totem pole as far as profit so it's harder for them to eat any of a rate increase that the big companies like CBS, NBC put on them and be able to keep their rates lower than providers like DirectTV which are with AT&T so they can eat some of that rate increase from CBS or NBC.

seems both parties have agreed to a deal

Yeah, I figured with it being smack in the middle of football season, and the college bowl games just around the corner, including the ACC, SEC, Big 10 and other Championship games coming up it would be taken care of. I just wasn't sure if it would be in time for the crossover. But apparently people in California missing the Chargers handing the Cowboys their arse yesterday was enough to tip people over into crazy caller people to Dish...LOL I can assure you, it was DISH that flinched. They had videos up yesterday all over telling people how to watch the football games on the app, on the computer, etc trying to buy time.....it didn't work....lol

Next week's Crisis will have its ratings affected because CBS and Dish Network failed to reach an agreement.

Less than 4% of CBS viewers nationwide are currently blacked out.

Exactly, and I would venture to say that barely a .5% of CW viewers, if that much are blacked out.

my source is the reaper, and he only mentioned CBS as having issues with Dish. He noted that 'you may not think you are paying for broadcast networks, but if you have cable or a satellite subscription then you most certainly are.'

Here are the stations impacted....

Still one of my favorite songs to belt out when driving. I actually heard it on the 80's on 8 Sirius radio a few week's back. oh that curly blonde!
I used to have that song memorized when I was a kid (still know quite a bit of it by heart) and I always pretended that I could fly like him during the opening sequence of each episode :D . Loved that show!

Looking forward to seeing evil Overgirl and Supergirl go at it.

There is a rumor that it is coming back on ABC, but with a female lead this time.

Looks like a reboot. But it's not the first time. In 1986, producers and the original principal cast reunited for a pilot movie for a new NBC series to be named The Greatest American Heroine. But it didn't sell and the pilot was never broadcast by NBC. The pilot was re-edited as an episode of the original series (complete with original opening credits and theme), and added to syndication sets of the original series thus making it the series finale.

In a precursor to the heroes revealing their identities. Ralph's secret identity was revealed to the public, resulting in his becoming a celebrity. This angers the aliens who gave him the suit, and they order him to find a new hero to wear the costume and use its powers for fighting evil. Once the transfer is made, they explain, all memory of Ralph's heroics will be purged from the world's memory except for Ralph, Pam his girlfriend (Connie Selleca), and Bill Maxwell (Robert Culp).

The story has Ralph finding a woman named Holly Hathaway (Mary Ellen Stuart), an elementary school teacher who spends her off-hours time looking for lost kittens, raising environmental awareness, and serving as a foster mother. Bill, Pam, and Ralph meet in the desert, where Ralph tells Bill about Holly. He reacts visibly to his new partner being a "skirt" before Holly arrives, flying in wearing a new version of the suit made for her, and she pledges to help Bill. The original trio say their final farewells, and Bill and Holly go on their way.

Basically it's the same silly premise, only with a woman.

The pilot has been featured on a DVD set of the show

Dayum the second trailer is pretty sinister.

If the bad guys want something from Kara though, can Evil Kara not give them a blood sample or something?

If Eobard Thawne is anything like Eobard we know, then not only is he a speedster but foremost he is a scientist. So I guess it makes sense for him to be their mad scientist guy.

Since the Flash on EX is Thawne, you guys reckon there might have once been a Barry Allen? Grant voiced a bad Flash seen on the Freedom Fighters trailer who wore black, I believe. Maybe that guy got wasted by good ol' Reverse Flash.

Also since Kara is on there, you reckon Superman existed and died on EX?

Question, do we think Earth-X Flash actually has the ability to cut Kara? He didn’t seem to have anything with Kryptonite.

It looks like from the trailer Kara was under a red sun devise taking her powers away
