I speculated on reddit that Kara could be taken prisoner...or even replaced by Overgirl at some point? They did this last year by having Kara be mind controlled for an episode to, too give the other heroes more of a challenge.

Also there's other pics I didnt post, that show Over girl giving orders to the nazi soldiers. Made me angry.

How do Kara and Alex know when to go to the wedding? I'm guessing that something at the end of the 7th episode Wake Up may see Barry and Cisco breaching over to invite them.

I can't wait for the reactions of Kara, Barry, Oliver, and Earth-2 Wells when they meet Overgirl, Dark Arrow, and Dark Flash.

I think Supergirl and Overgirl battle first until Supergirl gets captured in the Flash part before being rescued by Felicity in the Legends part. Another battle between them would happen in the climax and they would be separated from the group battle in the Legends part.

I don’t think the 7th episode will have anything to do with the crossovers. Cisco’s interdimensional extrapolater also allows communication between the two Earths, Barry probably just “called” Kara and invited her.

Why they choose to invite Alex lol? I've no problem with it, just wondering in-universe. They haven't met her, as far as they're concerned it probably makes more sense to invite Mon-El because as far as Barry knows that's her boyfriend.

I'm thinkin, Kara needed a date for the wedding, so she took Alex.

Would like to restress evil Kara looks lit x420. Funny thing though, Melissa as Overgirl looks like she has a thinner face than as Supergirl even within the same episode.

Also I wonder if they made it that evil Flash (which really is just Reverse Flash so not actually evil Flash) isn’t Grant Gustin because they just tried Savitar. Personally I was kinda disappointed I wanted evil Barry again.

After studying the pictures of Overgirl, got super excited realizing we're gonna get some more awesome acting from Mel. I mean... Come ON... "Red Kryptonite" is still one of the best!!

Also, hoping for a one-on-one between her and Alex. *crosses fingers and toes*

A disturbing rumour has surfaced that the absence of Kara in certain team shots is due to her being injured/captured early on and being out of action for a large part of the crossover.

If that is the case it will be disappointing to say the least, and that the CW reneged on their promise to involve Supergirl properly.

Some have proposed it is to free up MB for more Overgirl. If that be the case at least we get Kara action in one form or the other.

Above is just rumours and no guarantee. The only supporting evidence is team shots where Kara is missing and that picture of her in something like a hospital gown.

Oy Vey people I know there was justifiable disappointment in how Supergirl was used in last years crossovers but we know some of the causes. For what seems like the thousandth time.
1) The planning probably started months before Supergirl was renewed for a second season let alone moved networks and filming locations. Supergirl wasn’t originally going to be involved at all.
2) The longer production time for Supergirl compared to the other shows plus the later start on filming season 2 meant there wasn’t shutdown time to allow Melissa to be in two places. I recall David saying she was “shattered”.

These issues don’t apply to this year.
1) Early renewal, at the same time as the other three shows allowed planning to start nine months before filming.
2)Earlier start to filming season three allowd for “dead days” so Melissa, Chyler, and it looks like Jeremy were able to do the work in a more manageable way.

It makes total sense to me that the villains would want to divide the heroes and focus on neutralizing thier most powerful asset, that would be Kara. It also makes sense that the villains strongest asset Overgirl is a leader on that team. Add to this Melissa is the strongest lead acting wise in the Arrowverse so she could be counted on to really bring the evil as Overgirl and I’m not surprised at all that she seems to spend lots of time in a black costume.

Start thinking in terms of Kara/Supergirl plus Overgirl screen time. Plus it looks like Alex plays a big part and while I am disappointed that it appears Winn and Cisco don’t interact we do get an alternate Winn.

Makes a lot of sense. That will give the heroes a problem, and not rely too much on Supergirl.

Supergirl-the-character-only fans (and not-really-Melissa-Benoist fans) will be the ones most likely disappointed. (I'm both Supergirl and a Melissa Benoist fan, so it's not looking bad...for me).

Then I thought was she captured because she's not in the outside group shot. But, then the extended trailer came out, and Supergirl is fighting Overgirl in the sky. So, perhaps the others were on the ground watching and explains why Supergirl's not in the photos.

It's just on the editing - when Joe West looks up in the sky to watch the spectacle of Supergirl vs. Overgirl, it looks like he's still wearing the same suit at Barry's wedding. So I bet that outdoor scene is at the thick of the church attack. That scene is in the Supergirl episode, therefore in the early part of the crossover and so much would still happen afterwards.

My bet on the outside group (all abreast) shot, is that is in the Arrow part of the Crossover. Unless the Arrow regulars Rick Gonzales, Echo Kellum, and Juliana Harkavey signed a special contract to appear on all Arrowverse shows, they're limited to appear on Arrow only. Just like last year's crossover - Echo and Rick (with the actor who played Ragman) only appeared on Arrow. Nick Zano and Maisie Sellers only showed up for the first time on the Legends of Tomorrow part. If most of the actors signed on to appear on all shows for the crossover this time, then that's great (then my guess on the group shot will be wrong).

I took a screenshot of Alex meeting Winn's doppelganger. I wonder how Alex would feel seeing Winn there (if she hasn't been warned about doppelgangers).

Woah accusations thrown around. Chill, this isn’t my research assignments so apologies if posts are made sans reference list. I saw it being discussed on Youtube comments and FB and thought to mention it here. Personally it hasn’t occured to me prior. All is good @Fedguy just be aware that repeating what you here of FB and YouTube is how nasty rumors and untrue things get spread. Think about what you were trying to accomplish. We’re you simply trying to stir the pot regarding people’s problems with last years crossovers? Think about the response your looking for before you post.

I do hope it isn't true. But either way this event should be lit. As I said before, no one is trying anything. Found a worrying theory, saw that it might have merit, put it here to see what everyone else thinks.

Apparently a twitter user saw Stephen Amell playing 'two truths and a lie' at a convention when asked about the crossover , saying that Oliver would kiss 1) Kara, 2) Felicity, or 3) Diggle and then said "he would kiss someone who...isnt here" and you can see both Diggle and Felicity's actors on the stage.

I’m impartial to the dispute about Kara screentime etc as no matter how it turns out I’m largely satisfied, but why so aggressive? Sounds like you’re interrogating him, what did he say that was so wrong?

Same actor, but separate characters despite being identical. This isn't about the actors, but their characters.

Earth-X Overgirl is a separate entity from Supergirl. I would count time as both Supergirl and Overgirl. If Melissa spends more time as Overgirl, that's screentime for Overgirl and not Supergirl. Yes, this also applies to both Green Arrow and Dark Arrow.

During Smallville, we used to count screentimes for the characters in the forums. When Tom Welling played Clark and Ultraman Clark, we had to count separate screentimes for both characters he played.

It's character screentime, not actor screentime.
