Supergirl.tv has been running all over the place trying to get this correct information to you and we are happy to report that we think we can finally say for certain, the Valentines Day episode is going to be episode 13 of season 2! To be specific, this episode is the one that airs on February 20th. Some other outlets have claimed the episode will take place on the 13th which is now incorrect. A major reason why we want to get this information out there is that this episode is going to explore Maggie and Alex's first Valentines Day which is a very exciting episode! EW.com had the story first and had this to say on the topic:
Alex (Chyler Leigh) is super excited for her first Valentine’s Day with a girlfriend, but Maggie (Floriana Lima) is not keen on the Hallmark holiday, which leads to their first real fight. But Maggie will make it up to Alex by recreating a special night
Furthermore, Supergirl.tv was able to break the news that Myxzptlk is slated to appear in season 2 and would be making his debut on episode 13, THIS EPISODE! On top of that, we've got some more info on who might be coupling up with who on our spoilers page! Readers beware!

YES, and they were like 2:30 minutes long, not these little :25 second things. I don't need a bite of the steak, I need some wine as well....hahaha
I know right, I enjoy (as you do) the Sneak Peeks and miss the consistent 3 Sneak Peeks on a Friday that CBS released.
We do, however, have to understand that this is a series based on the comic books called "Supergirl" and that will always be the center of this series. We cannot feel personally upset when that center happens, nor can we get personally upset when that center is developed and strengthened by other sub plots. It is about telling a story about a girl named Kara and the enormous task she has of being human and super at the same time, the other sub plots are STILL about Kara, she is a part of every person on this show. SO ENJOY THE RIDE PEOPLE, WE HAVE A #SEASON 3 and probably 4. SOOOOO #HugItOut :)
We have Melissa Benoist fans from Glee...We have Chyler Leigh fans from Greys Anatomy...
We have David Harewood fans from about 4 different series...haha
We have theater lovers here enjoying Jeremy Jordan...We have fans of Mehcad Brooks...
We have Chris Wood fans from "Vampire Diaries"
We have Comic book fans in general and fans specifically of "Supergirl" many who have been reading those comics for decades...We have fans of action...
We have fans from the LGBT community so honored that finally a series is doing right by them and the struggles and joys that they face each day... PART 2 COMING...haha
Nobody's coming at you. We're expressing opinions. Which we are allowed to do. Showing support of this relationship isn't some personal affront towards you.
Exactly!!! Everything prior to this has been about Alex figuring herself out, which deserved every ounce of screen time it was given. As an actual couple, they've had 3 scenes together. 4 if you count the last one in Medusa. That's hardly an over developed story. Especially when it's already sooo rare to see healthy LGBTQ relationships portrayed on television.
Not to mention the fact that they told us well before the season started that Alex's character would be getting focus this season, so it's frustrating that people act surprised/upset by this. She's just as much of a main character as Kara is and deserves the development she's getting.
