The Flash movie is hitting 4K and Blu Ray this Tuesday. And it includers in the special features a new documentary called,"The Last Daughter of Krypton.' It features new interviews with all the actresses who played Supergirl in live action including Melissa. Unlike her interview in the recent, "Superpowered: The History of DC" Max documentary last month which featured archived interview footage from when., Melissa was filming. the final season of Supergirl, this interview is new. You can tell because Melissa is sporting her brunette hair and style from when she was filming 'The Girl On The Bus.'

Here's the photo.

I've always guessed her one request was that Kara not be killed off like Oliver was(although he got an amazing return in The Flash's final season. One of the best episodes of the entire Arrowverse,IMO). That when Supergirl ended., she would be still out there living her life and still being a hero even if we no longer see it onscreen. That's my guess anyway.
I shall chose to believe that Melissa’s request was that Kara remained alive and well. It also fits with the exact question and answer from the original EW interview.
Do you have an idea of where Kara's story is heading? How do you feel about the ending that's in store?

They pitched it to me because they wanted to know if I had any input as to where I wanted to see Kara ending up at the end of the series. I had one request, and it wasn't even something they were thinking about doing. And they pitched me the end, and it's really lovely. It's a great ending. I feel fantastic about it.
I’d also like to believe that based on this the Showrunners weren’t thinking about killing Kara. I still remain satisfied with the show’s ending.

Thanks for posting about this, it’s a nice video. It seems like they interviewed Melissa while she was on the set of Girls On The Bus. She seemed very happy about how Kara’s story ended on the show. I wonder if she’ll ever reveal what the one request was she eluded to in People

And we did get that on The Flash in its final season. There were a few mentions of Kara in Flash Season 9.We even learned that Kara, Ryan Wilder(who Lena met in the Earth Prime comic miniseries paying off Kate's visit to Kara off-screen at the end of Batwoman Season 2 and telling her about Ryan) and Nia meet for lunch in Gotham once a month and in Dreamer's appearance on The Flash, Iris got an invite and is part of the lunch dates now too.

Very good documentary! Let's hope that the character continues to live on and inspire people in many different ways. :)

I'd like to think that, in a small way, I'm helping "the character continue to live on" with my ongoign series of fan-fiction stories about her. (hopefully, about one every month or so...) :)

I wonder if that one request was to bring back Chris as Mon-El so they could finalize their breakup once and for all.
