Hello I am Jasmine. I thought I should introduce myself. I am 25. I'm from the United States. My hobbies are reading, writing fanfiction, drawing, listening to music and playing the ukulele. I've been watching Supergirl. I'm only on season one so I'm a new fan. But I already love this show. I am very shy and would like to make new friends. Feel free to message me.

May I suggest you catch up by buying/renting/downloading Seasons 1 and 2 to tide you over until Season 3 has been officially released. Each season has something to offer.

Welcome we have a great group here that keeps things respectful and wonderful admins who enforce the rules. Debates get spirited but rarely get out of hand. It’s a safe space to express your opinions.
Do you watch other Arrowverse shows? It’s not necessary for season one but once you get to season two you will need to watch a Flash episode to understand the next Supergirl episode. The multi show crossovers are more fun if you have a basic understanding of the characters on the other shows. The Arrowverse Wiki site linked as an affiliate provides basic information on the characters from the other shows.
If you haven’t check out the Adventures of Supergirl comic based off season one.

Thanks for the recommendation! Yes I'll check out The Flash too! And I will look for that comic in the store.

I would also recommend "Being Super", a new take on the Supergirl origin story that has just been released in book form by DC Comics. Both the writing and artwork are excellent IMHO.(My local Barnes & Noble has both in stock in their comic section.)
As you can see here, I also really enjoy writing fan fiction about Supergirl. But since I am a chemistry and physics teacher, my stories include quite a bit of real-world science. (You have to write about what you know, right?) I've also added an original character of my own to the Supergirl Team, a chemistry professor at Midvale State College named Susan Ramirez who becomes one of Kara's best friends (and allies).
This is how I envision her:

Hey there, hi there, ho there.
Welcome aboard, SuperheroObsessed. Happy to have ya. You've most definitely landed on the right Supergirl fan site--friendly, respectful (the great majority of the time, anyway), well-managed (everyone give it up to the admin... Holla!!), and insightful. We've got fans here from all over the globe--the U.S., Canada, Australia (*waves down at Fedguy*), New Zealand, Great Britain...just to name a few. Fun group of characters we have roamin around here. Soo.... Strap in. Have fun. And up, up, and away. And, yep... that was cheezy. #MyBad

Welcome to the forum, Jasmine. As others have mentioned, it's a great place to hang out and discuss Supergirl. Some might even call us "Superfriends"

I've never watched any episodes of Flash, Arrow, Legends, etc., and I've always been able to follow along with the regular episodes of Supergirl.

Without spoiling anything I can say something that happened at the end of Supergirl S2E16 is undone by the beginning of S2E17 and to understand how that happened you should watch Flash S3E17 between the two.
Hope, Help and Compassion for all
