As audience members we've been aware of that ship crashed under the ocean since episode one of this season. Well when Chad Lowe, who played the cult leader from the last episode, returns to direct, it looks like our Supergirl team is going to investigate that ship as well! Furthermore, fans can expect to see more of Carl Lumby as J'onn J'onzz's father and as we broke the story previously, Betty Buckley from Broadway and "Split" will appear as Samatha Arias' mother! Check out the full description here:
CHAD LOWE RETURNS TO DIRECT; BETTY BUCKLEY GUEST STARS — When Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and the team discover an alien ship has crash landed deep underwater beneath National City, Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is called in to investigate. Meanwhile, Hank (David Harewood) attempts to bond with his father, Myr’nn (guest star Carl Lumbly). Samantha (Odette Annable), eager for some understanding of the changes she has been experiencing, looks to her estranged mother, Patricia Arias (guest star Betty Buckley), for answers. Chad Lowe directed the episode written by Gabriel Llanas and Anna Musky-Goldwyn.

I hope if you do embark on the other venture, it does not take too much of your attention away from Supergirl.TV.

We were || this close to making a site for that show too. Any thoughts if we should? Since we’re off topic, lol
To get back into topic, I'm also excited for tomorrow's after show mini trailer for next week's episode - we'll get our first look of Izabela as the young Kara (with the glasses, in motion)!
Edit: I hope Izabela nails Melissa's mannerisms, wouldn't that be so awesome!

Yeah it'll air on SyFy in 2018. It'll take place on krypton during the time of Superman's grandfather.
If they keep the legion around then yeah maybe. I'd like to get to see other members of the legion but I'm not at all hopeful of that happening.
Sam, Ken....that is what I get for posting with a glass of wine.
As far as Mon-el and Kara, I wouldn't mind them getting back together if it was written as a strong, stable, work is work and home is home kind of relationship. Other than that, yeah...friends is fine with me as well.
Didn't they learn anything from Barry about changing the timeline? lol
He is pretty cool, doubt he'll make an appearance though
Maybe he will sometime in the future. Maybe next season or the season after
I vagely remember Krypton being mentioned, gthough I know nothing about it. Are they making a TV show?
I too find it odd that they somehow managed to get trapped what with having advanced technology and all. If it isn't the legion in that pod/ship then I hope it's more worldkillers
