There is an image that the lead actress posted indicating that they do indeed find another person who wears a cape.
A simple explanation is that the Worldkillers do have weaknesses. They do not hang around to kill Supergirl's friends because they cannot tell if the good guys know or will figure out those weaknesses, so they dodge rather than going in where they may be the ones getting killed.
We use a lot of mirrors, so there are six suns in the sky, powering up Kara way beyond her usual strength. Of course, there will be voiced concern that she will emulate Overgirl by explodiating herself. However, briefly she is more than a match for the Worldkillers.
Quoting Brierrose:
Well, yes - I agree! That's why I said "at some point, they're (Kryptonians) are going to lose their powers (without exposure to yellow sun radiation"). So,I agree that it won't happen immediately.
Yes, but there's no ultraviolet radiation from the sun at night, either.UV rays travel "line of sight", just like visible light - so that can't be the explanation. I always thought it was supposed to be like the yellow sun radiation "charged up" the Kryptonians (and Daxamites)- like charging up a battery. And then they were able to store the energy, and keep it in reserve. Isn't that why the DEO put Kara under yellow-sun lamps to charge her up after she was knocked out by Max Lord's "big bomb" and fell in the ocean? If you get rid of the sun's rays, then at some point they're going to lose their powers.
But of course, it's all science fiction (or "fiction science") anyway, so who really knows? ;)
It looks at though somehow Kara ends up in the same alternate universe that Sam was in earlier. If so, it would seem as though that would be the key to defeating Reign. Kill her in the alternate universe, leaving only Sam to exist.
So does Mon-el, unless the Legion ring somehow shields him, and if that is the case, then why don't they go get the Legion ring from the FoS for Supergirl?
