Love the duality of the sneak peeks, one having Supergirl and the team look at it from an outside situation... the second having Sam and Julia confront the horror head on from within the dark valley. Meanwhile J'onn said lena "sheltered a mass murderer" which I take to say that he thinks Sam should be put on trial for what Reign did. Honestly at this point after seeing that sneak peek/Julia and Sams reactions to the people Purity/Reign killed...

they actively tried to fight it. Grace was a willing participant and should be arrested and put on trial, Sam and Julia should be recognized as innocent.

Looks really good! As is often said: The plot thickens. Ought to be a good hour of dramatic superhero TV. :o 8)

Quoting Kelly:
I'm trying to figure out James....I don't know if the writers just really don't know who "Jimmy" is...or what. How is finding out if Lena has/or doesn't have anymore Kryptonite betraying Lena? WTH????? It's Kryptonite, He has known Lena for barely a year, he mistrusted her at the beginning. I just don't get that bit of writing at all.

Oh don’t get me started on how Lena can call him “Jimmy”.

And don’t get me wrong. I really really like Lena. It’s James that is written so poorly. And he doesn’t seem to be bothered that Lena may have kryptonite when he’s such close friends with the people it can kill. The “betrayal” comment is stupid because Lena literally betrayed Supergirl by having something dangerous to her when she’s had Lena’s back the whole time she’s been in National City.

I’ve tried but I really can’t get into the James/lLena relationship. Honestly James’ character annoys the crap out of me. Suddenly, he really cares about Lena and last episode he was all good for people having their secrets. But when it involved Kara he was all “I need to be able to tell Lucy your secret so we can still date” Yet I highly doubt he’d force that on Clark (his best friend). Kara never even told him her secret—Clark did that.

Basically, whatever James wants that will benefit him, he’ll get.

The rest of this episode looks like it’ll be great!! Just send James back to Metropolis...he certainly isn’t helping Catco in anyway. Or National City for that matter with his Guardian shenanigans.

I just love the sneak peeks. I wish Super girl wouldn't be so self righteous and let Lena do her thing. She will save the human half of the world killers if they support and help her. Looks like a strong performance by Lena. And Monty just doesn't look right with that God awful beard and no house of EL on his heart.

I have a feeling this is why Pestilence actually becomes more in the future--the Blight--because her human self is nasty, too, and enjoys being Pestilence; and hence, probably doesn't fight back to become human.

The darkest episode to date so far. Might not be for the weak of heart.
