Title and Synopsis for Episode 219

Whew, well its getting closer and close to the return of new episodes of Supergirl and we can't wait! On top of that we are starting to get descriptions of how the season is going to wrap up. Much is covered in our spoilers section but excitingly today, we can finally share the officlal title and synopsis for Supergirl's episode 219. The episode is titled "Alex", which means a lot right there before we event get into the description.

ALEX IS KIDNAPPED – Alex (Chyler Leigh) is kidnapped and the kidnapper threatens to kill her unless Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) releases a notorious criminal from prison. Supergirl and Maggie (Floriana Lima) have always had different approaches to apprehending criminals but this time they must work together to save Alex. Meanwhile, Rhea (guest star Teri Hatcher) has an interesting proposal for Lena (Katie McGrath). Rob Greenlea directed the episode written by Eric Carrasco & Greg Baldwin (#219).

WHOA, Rhea is going to try and strike a deal with Lena? This sounds crazy! We can't wait!

Rhea striking a deal with Lena - wow, I wonder if this solves the question of whether Lena is good or bad - should be interesting to see. I look forward to seeing SuperGirl and Maggie working together to find Alex. I think the Alex/Maggie relationship is really adorable and Maggie's character, is given just the right amount of time on the show. Another kind of episode which would be good to see is where something happens to SuperGirl - and Alex, J'onn, Maggie, MonEl, James and Winn all have to work together - that would be wonderful to see the dynamics that would play out. The ultimate would be if Eliza were taken - then you would have all of the above plus the power of SuperGirl.

I also hope they will come out with some additional information/pictures on the episode of the Ace Reporter as we get closer to airing time. Of course I am just geared for the the season finale episodes which sound too awesome to be believed.
