The Missing Link Synopsis

It feels wierd to see some of these episodes named season finale. We understand why and thankfully for Supergirl fans, the impact will likely be felt the least. Today we are looking at the penultimate episode synopsis for the episode titled "The Missing Link". Lena's Non Nocere project is going to fail miserably it would seem and that puts both Lena and Lex in direct danger. Mean while, Leviathan is on the move, team Supergirl will have to go round two against Rama Khan who is back post-crisis! Only one more episode after this and that's a wrap on Supergirl season five, check out the full synopsis for yourself below:

LENA DISCOVERS THE CONSEQUENCES OF PROJECT NON NOCERE – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the team go head to head against Rama Khan (guest star Mitch Pileggi) and Leviathan.  Meanwhile, Lena (Katie McGrath) and Lex (guest star Jon Cryer) must join forces when Project Non Nocere fails, leaving the two siblings in serious danger. Avi Youabian directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & J. Holtham (#518).  Original airdate 5/10/2020.

I don't feel that Lena must go to prison for whatever her crimes may be. I think you must consider the many times that the lovely Lena has saved National City's arse. Of course she has strayed from the straight and narrow path on occasion but who hasn't. She is a rare and precious gem and must be allowed to go out and about while doing her thing. She gets a pass in my book.

She wiped out the personality of Eve and replaced her with Hope. Sorry, that's not my idea of a "precious gem" who people should just let her do her thing.

I'm sure she will be be redeemed with some sort of excuse, but it's still total BS. Lena acted live a selfish tool all season with no respect whatsoever for the rights and autonomy of people. That is just seriously self centered and delusional.

I just saw a preview clip for tomorrow's episode that featured something I was so hoping for but doubted we would get

Here's the clip.Spoiler Warning.I'm surprised the CW released this as a preview.

Cool... I had previously read about that specific scene on Den of Geek site. Thanks for the link.

I also saw some additional trailer scenes for tomorrow's ep on comicbook.com that showed whose blood Lex has on his hands.

I am surprised they are letting this much out.

I saw that too.Yes,seems The CW is releasing spoilers via these clips.

Lena should have gone to prison pre-Crisis but HopEve took the fall. The Paragon of Hope will forgive Lena, it's who she is...

As long as Kara's forgiveness doesn't shield Lena from the consequences of her actions.

In the 100th episode-- one of this season's best-- Kara made it clear to Lena that she would hold her accountable for her actions... so I suspect she will in some way... but if the rejiggering mashup of 5x19 and 5x20 leaves Lex un-thwarted, then it may not happen in the finale. But, I have a feeling we will get a rewarding makeshift finale. Regardless of how wobbly some episodes have been, the people at Supergirl do know how to throw a finale.

i was reading an interview with jon cryer. lex still gets thwarted but they had to change the way it happened because of everything going on

I hope they can redeem Rama Khan. I think the handling of his character was an epic fail. I was quite excited about Supergirl getting a more formidable adversary and then, to my surprise, he was written as rather weak. I think they cast him with the right actor but they failed in execution. A huge let down. Perhaps this is the silver lining. Fingers crossed tightly!

I always figured Lex would hijack Non Nocere and it would blow up in Lena's face. Ultimately being the wake up call and kick in the butt she needs to snap out of her pity party and start the healing process with Kara.

Lex isn’t hijacking Nocere. Both Luthors are in on this Nocere. Its just Lena’s project. Lex is helping her with it. Kara deserve a better friend than one that manipulate, lies and locks her in an ice prison with the one thing that can kill her. Lena need to go to prison for what she has done.

You may be correct. But I suspect Lex may have his own agenda for Non Nocere unbeknownst to Lena and he will attempt to exploit (i.e. hijack) it behind Lena's back. I may be wrong, but that is what I expect to happen. Hard to guess what we actually get as filming shut down early.
