The Martian Chronicles Gallery

Friday like clockwork, we have new photos for Monday's new episode The Martian Chronicles! It looks like this is going to be a traditional "bottle" episode. Bottle episodes are a TV term for when a cast is trapped in one location. These kinds of episodes rely heavily on the ability of the actors to carry the scene. Of course, we have no concerns. The cast will do an amazing job! Check out the photos below!

Of course, a weapon can't be infinitely powered. But if the power source is nuclear, then a small pellet of uranium or plutonium could last a very long time! I'm thinking that the weapon probably is nuclear-powered - just judging from the amount of energy it produces in such a small space. Come to think of it, maybe the power source is nuclear fusion, rather than fission :-)

As for M'Gann... wow..the hotty rating has just gone up for this show!!

Newtonian physics, energy can not be created or destroyed but can change from one form to another.

Her gun has to contain some form of expendable ammo that's either matter (plasma) or energy (known form or scifi undiscovered). If matter then like a bullets magazine, it needs to be reloaded. If energy then either a fuel source has to be reloaded (like a flame thrower) or the weapon or its power cell needs recharging like the phasers in Star Trek or a mobile phones battery does.

There also the drama problem, An infinitely powered weapon is a get out danger free problem for the writers. Alex would no longer need Supergirl to rescue her.

What happened to the big particle gun that Hank was carrying around the first half of last season before he revealed himself as Jon? Why don't they use it any more? Did I miss something?

Well AoS is kind of on shaky ground at the moment, not sure that it will get renewed, so she's coming on back to more stable ground. :)
