Is being saved by Supergirl, Superman, or any of our superheroes a religious experience? We can imagine there are those who would say yes! John Henry Irons found that when he was saved by Superman, his entire life course was altered and he became Steel. What if that transformative moment was used against you? What if you were pulled into a cult that believed your savior was a god? Supergirl and Superman aren't far from having the powers of a god, but they have the thoughts and emotions of a human. Next week's episode looks like they will take on just such a topic! Check out the preview below:

Haters will never be silenced because it isn't about ratings at all, it is about them wanting people to talk about them...its the attention not facts.
Quoting starlord:
Haters will never be silenced. All they see is the initial ratings coming in at 0.5s and they start going off about the show tanking; they refuse to pay attention to anything else.
Oh and on ratings this week SG will Come in on 2nd or 3rd that is very good with the competition it faces on monday for 3 weeks in a row now. But of course if it went more up the haters will really be silenced this time around
Absolutely!
Here's Kelly Ripa and Neil Patrick Harris speaking after breathing in sulfur hexafluoride on live TV:

But of COURSE...."sulfur hexafluoride!" Now why didn't we ALL think of that. #NoBrainerDuh
And, it just dawned on me....sounds a bit like Alex. When I first heard it, without even thinking, thought Kara. But, now sounds like Alex, which might make sense if she's trying to get people to leave before kaboom happens? It would go along with what looks to be Alex investigating at the hockey game? And then maybe it's Winn telling Alex to get out of there?
Maybe a vision
Maybe they had her inhale a lungful of sulfur hexafluoride before she said it! (That gas makes everyone sound like Darth Vader :)
Why are you getting so worked up, its a trailer. I am sure it is out of context. You will have to see what they do. There is no point to the show if her power cannot be challenged by humans, otherwise it would be an hour every week of her kicking butt, and never being hurt. I don't know what his power will be, but it is a cult atmosphere, which is never good. It will be interesting to see what power they do give him, and see why he wants to kill everyone. I look forward to seeing what they do with this episode.
I also agree that I hope it is better than episode 3. I get that you need to develop other characters, but last week was a particularly weak episode in what has been a strong show.
The voice sounded too low in pitch to be Kara; I have no idea what the dynamic range of the actress is to say whether or not she could pull that off.
