The Faithful Sneak Peeks

Tonight is Halloween eve! But more importantly, it's time for another NEW SUPERGIRL! As we've learned from the synopsis a while back, Kara, James and Winn are going to investigate a cult in National City that seem to be worshiping Kara, or at least Supergirl. Those that are saved by the Girl of Steel in the cult adopt the name "Children of Rao" which is quite telling! Get your first look at Thomas Coville (Chad Lowe) as the cult leader below. Also remember that Chad will return to Supergirl as a director for episode 7!

Girls night in! Samantha Aria may be running L Corp, but how does that personal connection to the group start to develop? Well in this new sneak peek from Entertainment Tonight, we get our first glimpse into how she'll be added to the fold:

Finally, you can hear from Executive Procuders Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner on this episode in the inside look below:

Let us know what you think of these sneak peeks in the comments below and in the forum! We'll add any new sneak peeks if/when they become available right here! Keep us the #1 Supergirl website in the world and visit the support page!

I wish the CW would put these out in advance last week.

Nice to see Kara, James, and Winn investigating again like the 1st season.

After last week of not showing Lena and Reign, we get a girls night out with them and Kara.

Sort of making up for lost time, van?

Wow tonight's episode looks like its going to be fantastic. Love it! Love this season so far. I want to know what will be done with the cult - if the only thing they are doing is worshiping SuperGirl - that's not against the law so evidently the cult leader must have something else up his sleeve.

The second clip showing them all together is nice, not exactly a games night because the boys are not there (Winn and James) but more like a girls night. Again, this is going to make it harder for Kara to defeat Reign because Sam/Reign is getting to know things about Kara and those she loves and cares about. Also the group is starting to respect the way Sam is a single mom raising a child on her own.

Yeah Sam is getting close to the group, so it cuts both ways in that respect I figure. Also could sam become someone she cares about enough to hesitate to punch?

Looks like it'll be an interesting episode that touches on a lot of pressing issues. I'll certainly be tuning in. 8)

This is gonna be a creepy one tonight, especially with the cult scenes. But i guess we'll forgive Chad Lowe once he gets behind the camera for Wake Up.

And it's only apropos this airs on 10/30

1) It's the night before Halloween and this has spooky written on it because cults have that creep factor,

2) It was 79 years ago tonight, on CBS Radio, Orsen Wells scared the nation into thinking there was an invasion of Earth by martians in the classic War of The Worlds radio broadcast on the Mercury Theater on the air. Also on radio Welles prior to leaving the role played radio's first superhero who went after cults and the like...The Shadow, who used hypnosis to cloud men's minds so that they cannot see him. The character who asked...

"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!" (cynical laughter)

Happy Halloween all!

The first sneak peak: Chad Lowe is gonna blow this performance outta the water! Creepy Supergirl cult SL looks like it's gonna be awesome. And finally we get the Superfriends back together! Yay!

The second sneak peek: FIVE BAD*SS WOMEN ALL TOGETHER!!!! The girl power oozing from this one scene is ridiculous! Although I do hope they talk about something other than men, I'd be nice if it could pass the Bechdel test. I wonder how they even decided to all get together in the first place.

I think these two videos are very good choices for the previews, especially the (as Winn describes it) culty meeting.

Also there's a little jab there by Alex against Maggie, suggesting raising a kid as a single mom is an option. :D

Interesting episode for tonight.

So just based on that sneak peak the second one...

1. Lena has had several past boyfriends.
2. Kara still feeling the loss of mon el
3. Ruby's dad is not in the picture anymore.
4. Alex being -very- aggressive about bringing up kids in front of maggie.
5. Its nice seeing Lena apparently invited Sam into the girls night together. Its a bit funny seeing someone we know will become the main season villain just laughing and joking with the group. (Even if she is unaware of what she is)
6. I really hope they integrate Sam some more, I think next week is supposed to be Sam helping Kara with a work thing too so they're definitely working to try to show us the friendship being created organically.
