Now here's a gallery that has just about everything! Cuteness that will melt your heart, a new CEO behind the L Corp desk we are all used to seeing Lena behind, and some worrisome preacher spouting god knows what! Going back to the cuteness, however, how great are all the variations of the make-shift Supergirl outfits the school girls are wearing? Is this some sort of play at Ruby's school? We are wondering what could bring Kara, Alex, and crew to Ruby's school to see such an event? Want to see for yourself? Check out the 22 new images from Monday's all new episode of Supergirl below!

Very tragic. I think especially if Kara misunderstands and thinks Sam has been shifting into Reign on purpose or is not aware Sam has no control. Kara will have to be careful with this one. Sam isn't some super villain like Adrian Chase deliberately being 'friends' with Kara just to betray. From everything we've seen, its going to be real. (Possibly like pre-miraku Slade) But yeah I suspect tonight will give us all a lot more to discuss regarding Sams development.
Being I'm not educated in all things comic books....clarification needed. Is it possible that Sam "shifts" into Reign (and Sam blacks-out); thus, hiding her identity from Kara/Supergirl--allowing for Kara and Sam to build their friendship for a few more episodes without EITHER of them knowing? If so, I think that would be even more tragic--allowing Reign and Supergirl to fight full strength without Supergirl holding back since she doesn't know it's Sam. But, then once Sam is revealed episodes later....see what I mean? Tragic.
Reign is a worldkiller so she shouldn't have difficulty drawing blood. I think its going to be tragic watching her lose the battle for humanity. As for the 'figuring it out' and 'battling', I'd like to see an episode or two of the DEO actually attempting to administer a cure (if their friendship was really that strong) but it failing.
We would've found out soon enough but this type of thing should probably be reserved for the forum with a spoiler warning. To me if it's a Christmas episode that means we're going to get nine straight episodes before winter break. It wouldn't make sense to air a Christmas episode in January and I doubt the network will skip a week after the crossovers only to air one more episode before taking a long break.
It does seem a bit soon for the first Supergirl/Reign fight. I wonder if Sam is going to have blackouts or be "sleepwalking" and doesn't realize what she's doing for a time. That could allow for the Kara/Sam friendship to continue. We could first get a period of time where Sam doesn't realize what's happening to her. Then she does figure it out and fights it only to lose the battle for her humanity in the end.
I'll admit seeing Reign powerful enough to draw Supergirl's blood this soon makes me a bit nervous. It bugged me last season on Flash when it took so long for Barry and co. to figure out who Savatar was.

Well that is spoiled for some now....oh well, I tried.
Actually......
episode 3.09 is entitled, "Reign". However, Santa Claus also makes an appearance in this one, too. :)
Okay wow I did -not- know that. So If Kara meets Sam at 4x04, and she turns into Reign for the first time at 4X09....so that gives only 4 episodes for Sam to really be shown as being friends with Kara or Lena before she turns evil?
It is exciting to know that it won't be drawn out...I am wondering though if we will have moments where she shifts in and out of Reign similar to Killer Frost. For the 'some people think she can be saved' thing that we heard from early articles to work, Sam has to appear independent of Reign after 3X09.
Curious to see how that turns out. Or the big plot twist for the first battle is Reign gets defeated initially, and reverts to Sam as she is knocked out and we finish out the mid season finale with everyones shocked faces.
Edit: saw the pic you guys were talking about. That was shot Friday, so unless Overkill stays around another ep which is doubtful, the person she is fighting is still a mystery. I just don't see it being Reign this early though.

Oooops, not Overkill...LOL, Overgirl....*sighs* all of these names.
And as I stated below there is a title for Ep 9 and it is named after someone we all know. So, we may be seeing her come out of her shell so to speak earlier than we thought.

Edit: And another edit, lol....the title for Ep. 9 has been announced, and we may see the coming of "you know who" according to the title, or at the least, the precursor.
