Suspicious Minds Trailer 2

Less than a week away and then we get to see our Girl of Steel back on the screen! If that wasn't enough, CW has released a second trailer for the episode coming up. We are all feeling pretty great after the Elseworlds crossover but its time to get back to reality. Manchesster Black, Children of Liberty and now Colonel Haley is going after Supergirl. Thankfully, the writers didn't want us to forget about another big issue looming, the Red Daughter makes an appearance in the trailer too! Watch it below and see if you catch it!

Anyone that has been at the DEO for at least a year knows Supergirls identity. I don't think it'd be hard for the Colonel to find out

I pretty much assume everyone at the DEO knows.

But, they also know how many times she's saved their asses and just how much more dangerous their lives would be, and how many more of them would be lost going up against the threats they do w/o her. So I think it's more a case of them as a whole deciding to deny any knowledge of her identity ( not to mention not painting a HUGE target on the back of their Director ).

I hope this is how the show plays it .. that people know but remain loyal to Supergirl (as opposed to no one knowing).

Very excited for this Sunday. I can't help but chuckle a bit a this trailer though ... Supergirls secret ID has to be one of the worst kept secrets going. Is there ANYONE at the DEO who doesn't know? So much stuff to still accomplish this season ... Agent Liberty, Red Daughter and (I presume) a trip to the future to see Winn and Mon-El.

At least; That's how I justified it to myself when the President demanded she reveal herself.

Ah! Finally the Red Daughter. @Brierrose - looks like your theory about the attack might be spot on.

I'm just hoping they provide a good justification for the escalation of trying to find out Supergirl's identity. While I'm sure the government would have an interest in knowing, I don't see the need for a deep, ongoing investigation on it. And I don't know why Kara doesn't just give them a fake first name along with her Kryptonian last name to pacify them. Still holding out a small bit of hope that the Colonel will do the right thing.

Giving them a Kryptonian name wouldn't satisfy them. They don't want a name as such. I believe they want who she is--who and what she cares about. What they can leverage.

It makes perfect sense to me that the government would consider the identities of the two most powerful beings on the planet a question of national security. I was more surprised that Kara’s identity was completely off the books, honestly.

The Colonel calls SuperGirl an annoyance, the only annoyance I see in the episode is the Colonel herself. If a superhero is only doing good things, what does it matter what her secret identity is - in my opinion the Colonel is just as sick in the head as the President who fired SuperGirl in the first place.

Glad Red Daughter makes an appearance in the trailer.

Things are heating up when Supergirl returns this weekend.
