Ladies and Gentlemen ... we are back! The steady flow of promotional material for the show is back in action and Supergirl's final season is starting off with a BANG. As you may remember, due to covid-19 restrictions and filming shutting down, the original season finale of Supergirl was cut one episode short. There certainly was enough to digest in the finale we got but reading through the synopsis it sounds like we are getting the finale we were supposed to get at the start of this season. To accompany that synopsis, we now have 11 new images from the season opener. It has Kara Zor-El back in her Kryptonite shielding suit and Lex has made his way into the Fortress! I am also surprised I have yet to see a preview for Supergirl on CW (linear tv). They are promoting Kung Fu quite a bit and it debuts 8 days after Supergirl's return. Why no Supergirl promotion?
Although it may remain to be seen/confirmed, I was under the impression S&L were post Crisis present timeline.
Considering that events in Superman And Lois are allegedly in a future timeline, seems most likely that Kal decided to 'rearrange the furniture' after Lex Luthor gets into the facility on Supergirl, and messes up the place.
I was assuming left over footage from S5E20. If it's a wig, it's a HUGE improvement over that party express wig they had her wear in the 100th episode.
The Season 6 poster was released and Supergirl is still rocking the bangs.
It was likely filmed pre-Covid (S5E20) before S&L built their new set. I was curious why S&L changed the fortress in the first place. It was very unnecessary. Perhaps it's a different entrance and he has Supergirl using his guest quarters.
I know if I were one of the Supers, I would change the lock on the Fortress of Solitude - seems like it is free entry for those who want to enter. What I love about these pictures is that everyone is in them. Brainy looks well, thank goodness, I was dreading a long dramatic near death scene with him but instead it looks like he recovers quickly. Alex seems to have a shorter hair style.
I am very eager to see this episode - can't wait. I wonder how long they will wait before they tell Kelly that Kara is Supergirl (if she hasn't already figured it out on her own).
