Ladies and Gentlemen this is the moment you've been waiting for. While it is still a little early for the trailer's debut, it would seem that an affiliate station of The CW might have already run the trailer for the final season of Supergirl. The official trailer launch is scheduled to be in about 30 minutes but we went ahead and grabbed it for you here. If the one that releases soon is longer or different we will update our video for you. But judging by the footage, Supergirl is going to be nearly out-gunned fighting against all the weaponry in the fortress confiscated by Kara and Kal-El over the years and Lex will have it all at his disposal. Check out the trailer for yourself below:
*Edit: We've updated the video to include the full 1 minute preview.

I too thought it would end with season 7.
It's has to be! That bar was set pretty low on that Flash arc. However, everything points to things not ending well for the girl of might, paragon of hope. I suspect, it will set up sparse appearances for the next few episodes.

I think it's a case by case bases.
Batwoman picks up pretty much shortly after the end of season 1.Kate was coming back from seeing Kara in National City about permission in destroying the kryptonite bullet. Will be curious if this gets referenced on Supergirl.Caroline Dries revealed with that characters now believing Kate's truly dead(but we know she isn't),next week's episode will have a one month time jump.
Black Lightning Season 4 started a full year after the end of Season 3.
I can see Supergirl maybe doing some type of time jump after The Leviathan/Lex story is wrapped maybe after episode 2.It would give a in story reason Supergirl/Kara loses the bangs.
I love the interaction between the two sisters - still think it is the foundation of the show and Melissa and Chyler are just fantastic. I also still think that rebirth refers to Kara coming back from whatever happens to her and when she come back she will no longer have the bangs. Also loved it when Lena hit her brother Lex. Last but not least, I think that between the first and second episode Kelly will be informed of SuperGirl's true identity (if she doesn't already know). All I really know is that it looks to be an episode that is going to be great and I will definitely be at the TV watching every minute of it.
It makes budgetary and logistical sense to use as much of the footage shot last year especially scenes with Melissa. I think all the bits in this trailer will Melissa are from last year because she still has bangs. I know Riverdale and Charmed took the same number of episodes they were short to finish last year’s storyline before doing a time jump and starting a new storyline. I haven’t seen S7E4 of Flash yet so I don’t know if they do a time jump after finishing last season’s storyline in S7E3. I wonder if Supergirl will do a time jump between S6E1 and S6E2 that could help explain Kara’s bangs growing out. One of the actors on Charmed changed how she styles her hair between S3E3 and S3E4 and it works with their time jump of a few months.
