We're back! It is a little bit bitter sweet because this is the final season of Supergirl but, for us, its a little easier knowing that going into a season rather than not having a season renewal and not wrapping up storylines. That said, while some preliminary filming has taken place, the new Mom-of-Steel is back at work and the final season has begun principal photography! Our favorite Space-Dad is back behind the chair directing an episode as well as getting work done in his new beefed up Martian Armor suit! Love those shoulders! We still don't have a release date but our countdown clock is set to our best estimate. We do know that this final season will have 20 episodes like seasons before and we can't wait to see what's in store! Check out this behind the scenes photos of Space-Dad getting work done below:

I agree and the focus should be on Supergirl. Whatever time slot that would put their ratings through the roof would be Monday Night at eight. Or have Stargirl at eight and Supergirl at nine. Back to Back, Belly to Belly.
But for the past several years the Network has done everything possible to sabotage their ratings. Now would be a nice time for a change and have the show go out with a Bang.
I too was thinking we would get either a Stargirl/Supergirl or Supergirl/Legends combo this summer. It would be nice if the final season returned to its original Monday time slot.
As for the countdown clock. I'd say March is a pretty generous estimate. I'd put the premiere out to May or June. April if we're REALLY lucky.
My gut kinda feels like we're gonna get a combo of Supergirl/Stargirl summer line up.
Let's hope that S6 is indeed super and true to form. I'm sure the actors, crews and the like, are putting their best feet forward and making it a great swan song.
At last, a glimmer of sunshine to start the brave New Year.
Love the Martian armor and the new 'do.
