Supergirl Returns October 9th

CW is wasting no time in letting it's fan base know when their favorite shows are going to be returning in the Fall! In a press release from the network this morning, The CW stated that their entire line up would start the week of October 9th. Of course, for those that remember the CW's upfront presentation, Supergirl's timeslot remains on Monday at 8pm meaning the sopomore year on The CW and Junior year for the show will begin October 9th! Now, I'm going to have to make some updates to the countdown clock because that is going to be triple digits!

IMO, there was character development on her part, she is 10 fold more confident than last season...HOWEVER, YES, she needs to be back as the central focus in every episode, even if it is an episode to develop another character, she needs to be front and center. They did that really well in the first season, this season, not so much at times.

What? Heck I'm teaching Summer School, I will have about a 3 week Summer vacation when it is all said and done....that is long enough, I get bored pretty fast.


Technically, my summer will be a month and a half. I finally decided to drag myself into getting my Master's August 1st. Ew.. Just... Ew. And yeah.. You're right. By the time it's time to go back, I'm ready for some routine again. lol

I think Gotham is boring in the extreme. The only interesting character on there is Fish, and she hasn't been seen since the start of the season.

Nothing about airing on Mondays is stopping a 23 episode season. I think they would have loved to do one more episode this season but the location change and later start in filming season two meant there simply wasn't enough time. This year filming is starting earlier and the sets and crew are ready to go. With the early renewal it's even possible that the first couple of episodes for season three were written before everyone went home for the summer.


True....the writers went back to work this past Monday.

Agreed....will be a long summer but the anticipation of Season 3 will hopefully make it go faster. Very jealous for those attending Comic Con. Would love to go just to get some cast autographs and pictures. For those of you lucky enough to be going...have a great time!!
