There's been quite a juicy rumor spreading around the comic book sites last night and this morning about Supergirl (the show) looking to cast a Superman legend, Lois Lane. The origin of the rumor was first posted at Omega Underground showing a possible audition video that could indicate that the show (Supergirl) was looking for an actress to play Lois Lane. Unfortunately for fans looking to see Lois on Supergirl, Supergirl.tv has checked with the network and can confirm that the show is NOT looking for this role at this time. In fact, it should be an epic cross over with all the Superheroes all helping Superman look for Lois Lane.
It could be hilarious...
I don't think so, when we had Cat, they already had a year of history together...with Lois, there is nothing as far as history. We have already seen a far too shallow, but somehow a grand BFF in Lena and that seems forced to me, I don't want another forced relationship in Kara's life.
Lois would be a nice character to have, but it would not be a good fit at the current time in the Supergirl story. It's possible to bring her in later in the series, but like Superman, she should be used sparingly.
Are they usually credible or not?
The reason I ask is where they mention season 3 in that article, they state that it has been put on hiatus due to Andrew Kreisberg’s firing. However CW stopped that rumor weeks ago.
