In 1938, the world changed and the biggest and oldest superhero was born. Superman! It was only a year later that a hero almost opposite in every way was born, Batman! Both of these heroes have been circling each other for decades. They are both founding members of the Justice League, they have worked together, fought each other, fought together and ultimately been the best of friends. With a history like that, it's no wonder that The CW is putting Supergirl and Batwoman together in such a similar way! A new teaser video has been relased featuring the pair using the famous moniker for Superman and Batman, "World's Finest". Not to be confused with "Worlds Finest", an episode title from season one that often is used to refer to Barry and Kara (since they are technically on different Earths). Check out the teaser below:

Here is an interesting fact. In baseball when first base is open and you have a player leading the league in homers like Roger Maris, the pitcher will walk that hitter. But Roger Maris never got walked because Mickey was on deck. Throughout that year Maris was never walked intentionally. Holly Sh----t! lol
To which I say...HOLY COW! And yet, in 1961, Maris had the spotlight with 61 home runs that season. And that Yankees reference has a coincidence with the fact that the games were carried on Supergirl's New York City home, WPIX channel 11.
To go more technical, Batwoman is serving as a lead-in to Supergirl. If BW has decent ratings, they will spill over into SG to finish Sunday night. In New York Supergirl will lead-in to The PIX 11 News at Ten as well as 10 p-m newscasts in L-A (West Coast time at KTLA) and Boston (though that news is co-produced by WLVI's sister station, WHDH).
And also, in Chicago, CW gets a new home...again...going from WPWR-50 to the more powerful WCIU-26.
If things go right, I'll have a two hour block of programming for Sunday.
At the least, it's a better fit with Supergirl than Charmed was.
