Things seem a little backwards today but it's still a new Supergirl episode day which makes every day a good day. Backwards we mean because this morning we got the synopsis for a future episode and now, just hours before the new episode airs, we have new images from next week's all new Supergirl episode "Still I Rise". From the looks of it, it seems that Kelly is going through some training at Alex's hand. Nyxly seems to be out and about and Nia's mother is in person either in the dream realm or what looks like a couch in an apartment!? Perhaps there are some clues to tonight's new episode check out the gallery below:

Okay speaking for me - some of these screen shots look like they could be good. The one thing I am sick of is that I really was looking forward to some Melissa/Chyler scenes of hugging and helping each other through what the PZ did. Instead it seems the show will concentrate on the weeping of Nia and her mother - a storyline that I'm really tired of seeing - this has been going on for some time. I also would imagine that by the time they finish with Nia's powers, she will be able to walk on water. Thus again our dear writers forgetting that SuperGirl is suppose to be the strongest, most powerful superhero on earth.
I also hope that Kelly does not take up a great amount of time with her story - unless her story brings in Chyler more (who never seems to be on screen enough). Also, it is only right that Kelly has her story told and her character come to life before the end of the season. \
I don't know if they're going to spend anymore significant time on Kara's Shell Shock from the Phantom Zone.
I think the Welcome Back Kara episode may have to suffice until a flashback occurs in a future episode. Her father and Nyxly seemed to have come out of it okay. From my perspective the horror of the Phantom Zone is overrated.
Kara and Alex need more time to ne sisters and there for one another
LENA needs to be key to every episode. Without Kara/Lena, there is no excitement. Their story engages everyone. Bringing Kara back and then sending Lena away is a big mistake as you are wasting key episodes not including their story. You said they get closer and stronger and their relationship grows, yet you send her away.. thats the opposite if what you claim, promise.
You've already let us down for almost 6 seasons keeping them apart. Please change that now and make them Supercorp ENDGAME finally

I have to admit that scforbes8489 did bring up an interesting fact that in one of the pictures, Alex does look like she has the Kryptonite cuffs and Kara in other picture looks not quite like herself and ready to fight. I tend to think it is J'onn, Alex and Brainy trying to cuff her and they gave the cuffs to Alex since she would have the best chance of getting them on her - if that is the case, then it will be worth going through all the other scenes to see this one.
