Season Finale Title Revealed

The cast and crew had some time to celebrate the end of season 3 with their wrap party over the weekend. Some of you may have seen a few photos on instagram, mostly Amy Jackson's. That said, production isn't quite over as they expected. They need one more week to really do the finale justice! We can't wait!  TVLine.com has officially released the title of the final episode for season 3. That title is "Battles Lost and Won". Obviously our speculation engines are already running. Which battle do they win? Which is lost?

The season finale title for Supergirl has now been changed to ‘Supergirl Returns’. Returns from where, who the heck knows. I liked the other title more because it had so many different meanings behind it.

Mon El (unfortunately for me) chooses to leave. He gives Kara back the necklace. It's very sad.

It would be kind of weird though if they just repeated the Season 2 ending.

I will be interested to see what ending Kara has this season. Season 1 was a happy ending (celebrating with Family) and Season 2 was sadness (sending Mon-El away).

Yes, and preferred would be that he stay, but I hope if he does go, it's a proper choice. Not like last time.

Sam-Reign is taken to the future to help the Legion fight Blight. She asks Alex to adopt Ruby.

Something cliffhanger...ry. Then.....

Season 4 - Kara has to travel to the future (like in the comics).

In reality ...I guess I just have to wait and see, though I'm terribly impatient.

I like that ending, especially as I think Odette has also spoken in interviews she would want a redeemed Sam as well. Yes, as others have said I do believe Ruby to be half kryptonian, possibly have powers similar to conner kent when she gets older, would have to be trained in these abilities too when she manifests them. Also I have no words for these who want a kid dead.

It is surely up to the writers whether or not you can use time travel to change the past, in this continuum. However, they are attached to the legends of Tomorrow Universe, so the answer is "yes, you can, if you are careful".

Kara had superpowers when she arrived. Her crash landing dug a big crater, not survivable for homo sapiens. Ruby might therefore also manifest powers now.

It was said earlier in the season that the worldkillers only get powers when they come of age. So about 18-20 Ruby should get some powers if it happens. Also she was not pre-programmed with a personality so she would be 'safe' I suspect.

However, Sam so far as one can tell is also Kryptonian, so there might also be Kryptonian genes.

"I think Lena with her brain skills and science company will join forces with the DEO and become a source of information and knowledge for SuperGirl and the DEO."

Yes, that's what I would like to see. In fact, that's exactly the way I've already written it in my own fan fiction stories! :)

The title "Battles lost and Won" to me would refer to:
Ruby losing her mother and either Lena or the grandmother takes her in. Alex is too much a
part of the action to be restricted with Ruby.

I think MonEl will end up leaving because if he does not then he never appeared in the
future to obtain the powers to help defeat the worldkillers. Again, in the movie of the time machine Jeremy Irons showed how you cannot change history. I think he will leave as a hero, but he will leave. SuperGirl is his friend now - not his lover and this time she is more than capable of watching him go back into the future knowing how important it is for him to do so. It will be a teary goodbye - but there will be a goodbye.

I think Lena with her brain skills and science company will join forces with the DEO and become a source of information and knowledge for SuperGirl and the DEO.

I think J'onn's father will definitely lose his battle against dementia and will pass away at the end of the 3rd season.

Of course these are merely speculations - the writers control what can be done in their universe so anything goes.

I agree. And if the spoilers are correct it would basically be what you just said. But I disagree. Alex wants to have kids and adding Ruby is kinda foreshadowing that. But I hope the spoilers aren’t correct and that Sam and Ruby leave. I really want Alex to adopt Ruby.
