Season 4 Episode Titles 405 - 407

A little over forty-one days left until Supergirl kicks of their senior season (fourth). Melissa Benoist has been back filming for over two weeks now and most of the catch up scenes that needed to be filmed (to account for her absence while on Broadway) are almost done. This means that episode 401 - 404 are nearly all in the can. The show is moving back into a normal production schedule and because of this, we are getting episode titles for the next round of episodes, 405 - 407. 405 is titled "Parallax", 406 is titled "Call to Action", and 407 is titled "Rather the Fallen Angel". For us, these titles don't give much to go on but the one that stands out the most is "Call to Action". We know from a few spoilers we've gotten that the Children of Liberty are growing their ranks (you can check that out in the spoilers section). Our thinking is that episode 406 is going to be a pivotal moment for the Children of Liberty and their crusade against the aliens on Earth.

From the images on forum of Alex, it appears that the 'no deadly weapons' silliness of last season didn't last very long.

FYI SuperGirl fans:

I see where SuperGirl is up for the People Choice Awards Nomination for best sci fi/fantasy show. People are able to cast votes now and you have I think it is 25 votes you can cast. Her show is listed at this location of the site for voting.

Ep 2 is called “Fallout” a fallout usually mean a rift. Could this be Kara and Lena having a fallout now that she has begone testing on humans. Lena is going bad. Best storyline for her. Pretty much useless as a boring friend on the show.

But with all the edgy villain posturing they've been doing for her, indeed it better amount to something at a point.

Couldn’t agree more with this at some point it has to be real.

Or it could be a fallout with anyone else. Lena isn't a centrepiece right now.

Actually, the one I'm most intrigued by is 4.07 "Rather the Fallen Angel", as it seems a reference to 'writer of stuff' Peter David's follow-up comics series to his Supergirl run (which readers at the time originally thought the lead was Linda Danvers hiding under a new name).
Kara is most likely the angel that this is in reference to because of her ability to fly in and save people. I could feasibly see this title being a result of dubious actions taken by the Red Daughter of Krypton and spotlighted in the media by CatCo, led by Lena who ended Season 3 with a bit of animosity toward Supergirl. The questionable actions would create doubt in the people of National City, believing that the Red Daughter is Supergirl and force Kara to go into some type of hiding.

NOOOOOO!!!!! Many of you may think of Parallax as "the weird smoke monster from the Green Lantern movie," but to me it's "the lame excuse to turn Hal Jordan evil" in Emerald Twilight. That was the story that soured me on buying comics to the point that, when various life changes happened for me a couple of years later, it was very easy to quit buying them for 20 years. So I have no use for that "character" at all.

Parallax the weird villain from the Green Lantern movie?

Trivia note: Greg Berlanti was a producer on the 2011 Green Lantern movie, although he and the WB film division are probably hoping enough time has passed that fans have mostly forgotten that box office miss.

However, the Parallax concept didn't originate with that flick, so one could surmise that it probably will be used in a different fashion in this series.....and with this thought in mind, keep an eye on Agent Jensen when he initially shows up this season. :)

22 episodes this season
I seem to remember reading that Arrow and Flash would also have 22. Any word on that. I don’t want haters saying Melissa doing Broadway is the reason Supergirl has one less than the others. Amell was pretty adamant that the crossovers mess with the shows schedule too much no matter how well planned.
It's across the board. Arrow, Flash, Supergirl all get 22. Black Lightning and Legends each get 16. The only show on the entire network getting 23, this year, is Riverdale.
The only source I could find on this besides our extremely reliable Admins is the only somewhat reliable Spoiler.TV https://www.spoilertv.com/2018/05/the-spoilertv-201819-known-episode.html. I'll file it under extremely plausible to very likely. I am kinda surprised they don't want more episodes of LoT, since that show won't be part of the crossover they could do more.

I can live with Supergirl having 22 episodes if the other shows do too. I just don't want the haters to blame Melissa or say the network isn't committed to the show. I'm thinking Stephen Amell used his sway to convince the network that 23 show episodes plus crossover episodes isn't doable for the cast and crew.
