There still may be 95 days remaining until the Supergirl season 3 premiere, but another way to look at that is, there are only 95 days to make the season premiere and enough episodes to have a decent cushion to support Supergirl's 8 day filming schedule! YIKES, its time to get to making Supergirl! The cast and crew are back in Vancouver Canada today and filming is officially underway! Helming the first episode of Supergirl's junior year is director Jesse Warn who famously directed the "Red Faced" episode of season 1! Yesterday, the cast gathered for the first table read of the premiere episode and our man Mehcad Brooks was there to capture some of the awesomeness. Good to see Melissa was in her usual goofy spirit:

A big reason Chyler got the part is the instant connection she had with Melissa. It's a bonus that everyone on the show seems to genuinely like each other. Casting for all the Berlantiverse shows has a near perfect record for finding actors that bring out the best in each other.
As long as everyone is respectful and professional it's not a requirement to like your coworkers but it sure helps especially when your job is acting. It seems that the casts of all the CW shows filming in Vancouver have formed a nice support system for each other
It's always so nice when actors on a show are close in real life, particularly when their characters are so close too. Couldn't have asked for better actresses for the Danvers girls!

Spot on there, jacks. I mean it's like they are sisters. One person as I was hanging around Instagram called it the cutest picture that person ever saw. It's like seeing two puppy siblings together it's just so darn CUTE!
I agree with you, I am also close to my sister and its what I love most about the show. I'm hoping for many sister moments in season 3.
Agreed...nothing beats "sisterly love!!" I have a favorite picture of my sister and I from when we were young that is a similar pose. I am also hoping to see lots more of the Danver sisters this year too!!
We will see but i definitely think we will already see what is happening to him in the opening. Since of that big cliffhanger ending for him. As for Odette i think they will introduce the big villain in the opening as well.
