Looks to be a very emotional episode. Solid writing and directing credits all around, and Helen Slater returning is always welcome!

Helen Slater returning more that we thought is fantastic! She has been under used. It was odd that in Dean Cain's last episode of season 2 she disappeared with no mention even though she was in the episOde before.

It is fantastic to see more of Helen. I have a feeling that she was meant to be in E15 'Exodus' but her scenes were possibly cut. In the attached (https://supergirl.tv/forum/helen-slater-interview) interview with Helen from Feb 2017 she mentioned she was in 2 more episodes but only ended up being in 1 (E14).

The other interview I posted in there from June 2017 had Helen mention she would like to be in the show more, seems like she's getting her wish, which is great news for us fans.

I'll echo other comments and say that "Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) joins J’onn (David Harewood) on a personal mission." should be the most interesting and exciting part of this episode.

For episode 3, IMDB also lists young Kara and young Alex appearing as well.

I'm far more excited about this personal mission with Jonn and Kara.

Kelly, we are in agreement.

Though I'm more interested in Supergirl and J'onn's personal mission, this is likely a Sanvers-centric episode.

HELEN SLATER RETURNS - Awesome :-) , that's twice in less than 3 weeks we've got this news and makes Helen fans like me very happy.

Jonn's father Myrnn is being played by Carl Lumbly who voiced Martian Manhunter in the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited Cartoon Network series from the early to mid 2000's. Another excellent DC Legacy casting choice.
