SDCC 2017: Supergirl Figures

Good morning everyone! We are so excited to be here at San Diego Comic Con! If you've been following us on Twitter and or Facebook you might have seen some of our adventures already! Yesterday (Thursday) was the first full day of the convention. While we snuck around during preview night, we wanted to bring you a look at all the Supergirl-related awesomeness from the show floor on the first full day of Comic Con. We are glad we did because we saw some amazing figures that were just released that day! Below is our figure review video. It's a mash up of our live videos from Facebook but if you don't follow us there, this is a great way to see what is being offered at SDCC. Of course, while here, we met some amazing folks who gave us some great leads on these figures so there might some contests in the future! *wink

Let us know what you think of the Supergirl figures being offered this year at SDCC in the comments below or the forum! Also, if you are enjoying our coverage of SDCC, visit the support page and help us to keep the site advertisement free and still be the largest Supergirl site on the web! Now we are off to a secret surprise interview! More on that soon!

Wow congrats on your recent acquisition, Kiwi! While I'm now at the stage of being 3/4 minimalist and 1/4 hoarder, I won't think twice about adding anything up to a Supergirl collection, like the one you have :D

Quoting Kiwi:
Quoting Triggy:
I want the first statue! It very much represents the first season poster and/or Bluray/DVD Cover.

You're certainly right about that Triggy, I love that poster (and the fact that Eric keeps at the top of the homepage). Definitely another reason to purchase that particular statue.

On another note I received this statue (https://supergirl.tv/forum/supergirl-tv-statue-1) in the mail today, it's an absolute beauty, so well detailed and gorgeous to look at.

Many thanks for posting this video, I love looking at all the new things out for SuperGirl and its fun to see just how famous a superhero she has become due to the series. My favorite is the first statue where she is flying. It looks just like Melissa Benoist. Have fun guys at the convention and enjoy.

As much as I love the 1970's Supergirl statue, even with Streaky, at $250, it's way too rich for my blood.

But as for the Kotobukiya one for $69.99 with three posing options and the flying one (same price), I think something can be done.

If I want to spend big money for something SG related...it should come from the following...

Mezco, which makes their popular One:12 line of super poseable 6-inch action figures with cloth costumes and accessories for about $80 (I have their SHAZAM figure)

OR...

Hot Toys known for their very high end 12-inch action figures along with many points of articulation and accessories. Though it would cost $250 or so, it would be worth it.

I hope you guys can keep it up at SDCC.

Really nice video thanks guys.

The Icon Heroes Supergirl Flying Statue is really nice, definitely putting that on my to buy list. And the Joelle Jones Supergirl statue is a stunner, I like the yellow inside the 'S' shield.
