San Diego Comic Con is less than a week away now! We can hardly believe it! Flights are booked, hotels are arranged and much of our time is already accounted for while at the convention! One thing we were curious about though, as we are sure all of you were, is who from the cast and crew were going to be at the convention representing Supergirl? Well we can tell you who today! Of course our leading lady, Melissa Benoist will be there! She is joined by her on-screen sister Chyler Leigh, as well as Jeremy Jordan, Mehcad Brooks and David Harewood, all who have been with the show since day one! Joining the Supergirl crew at SDCC for the first time this year will be Katie McGrath, Chris Wood, and Odette Anabelle! And as if that wasn't enough star power for you, the new show-runners Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner will be there as well! That's 10 people including the primary cast and the two new show-runners! I don't think we could do much better!
Let us know what you think of this all-star roster in the comments below and in the forum! Also keep us bringing the best advertisement free coverage from the convention and visit the support page!

EDIT: I have made a forum post called "The State of the Supergirl Fandom". You may direct all of your comments there but please read the rules on that thread before posting. I have closed this thread on this news topic. Any further comments added here will be deleted.
There is an enormous difference between abuse and calling someone out respectfully. That's all I'll say on the matter, but I urge you to step out of your own box and not equate 'anti' with 'abuse'. Have a good evening.
If by 'disparage' you mean 'protest the blatant racism and misogyny', then yes.
us?
are you admitting there is a concerted campaign to disparage parts of the show?
Funny how us protesting against someone who canonically owned slaves and displayed abusive behavior and sidelined Kara on her own show is 'toxic'. Nice try with that crap about Katie. Actors don't get penalized for what their fandom does; the crap with OUAT proves that. Don't try to fear monger us.
A couple of posts in the other news category were mocking the costumes of the show and the special effects. Is that toxic also? It's just an opinion. I don't see why not liking Monel is a must to be a fan of Supergirl.
Katie's role on the show is not in question. No matter how ugly things get, they're not going to punish her for it. The debacle with once upon a time and the two lead actresses proved that. Jennifer Morrison left because she chose to and Lana Parrilla is still on the show. They would not punish Katie for the actions of fans.
I believe many people feel as you do. But one point I would disagree with is that only shippers have a problem with Mon el. I am a SC shipper but I know many people on social media who are not shippers of any kind that dislike the Mon el character. As littlestar said I in know way dislike Chris Wood. I agree that many SC shippers have gone over the line as well as shippers in other parts of the fandom but dislike for Mon el is not just a shipper thing.
Everything I write is my opinion and I in know way think it will change any other persons mind (nor would I want it to). I write it because to me it's frustrating that such a great character, like Kara Zor El, winds up with such a poorly written character as supposed parter.
Also, Chris Woods, has been on other CW shows so I think he is just a favorite of the CW network. And as I stated above I have nothing against Chris. He and Melissa are very good together. As for the Teen Choice awards, it seems very telling that most of the nominations are CW shows.
The fact still remains that the show is losing viewers. Seven million with Nielsen boxes watched the s1 finale. The lowest rated episode of s2 was about 1.8 million, I believe. Numbers are still numbers. But we can nitpick about this all day; there's plenty of other evidence.
