Oh my goodness, its been a while since we've done one of these articles! So exciting! Today we have our first sneak peek at episode 314, Schott Through The Heart. The sneak peek is actually packed with a lot of emotion. Carl Lumby returns as J'onn's father, M'yrnn but as you can see in the clip, there is something wrong. Kind of breaks our hearts. That said it also includes a smiling Kara which warms us back up again! Check it out for yourself below:

I did watch Justice League and I still don't like Cavill's Superman. He still seemed to think of his powers as a burden and takes no joy in being super. I feel the character was messed up from the first movie and the resurrection was like putting a band aid on a gun shot wound. Personally I think our "brooding" TV Supergirl has smiled more this season than the current movie Superman has in three movies.
To me a "brooding Superhero" is Cavill in the recent Superman movies and he is brooding because he's not happy being a Superhero. That is not the case with Kara, she loves being a Superhero and it is the one thing that kept her going through her grief of losing Mon-el. I've lost some important people in my life this school year, and I can damn well tell you I wasn't brooding, or not smiling because of trivial stuff. It was grief....and you learn to smile through that grief. She was learning to do that when, BAM the love of her life is standing in front of her only to find out that he is married to someone else. Happy that he's alive, but damn what a bomb to drop. She herself has said she is getting through all of this and becoming stronger. I say we let her grieve, get stronger and know that she will be smiling more and more. I don't want her to be a robot or Stepford wife.
Hee hee...remember that pizza scene with Supergirl and Alex where SG said "We ought to come with a warning label" or something like that?
