Prom Night! Gallery

We're sure that this episode is one that you've been excited for since it was announced, Supergirl is returning to Midvale! Ever since Izabela Vidovik and Olivia Nikkanen took over the roles of young Kara and young Alex, we've held a special place in our hearts for Midvale. For the season to do a two episode arc back in the town and time we love is very exciting! If that wasn't special enough, we are also getting the woman who named the Girl of Steel, Cat Grant, back. While she might be a bit younger than when we first saw her, she's got that look and stereotypical hand tilt down to a perfection! Check out the images from "Prom Night!" below:

This looks awesome and feels like a spinoff pilot with Young Kara and Alex, young Cat Grant, Brainiac 5, and Dreamer. This and the Chyler Leigh-directed followup are the ones I'm looking forward to the most out of this season.

I'm not gonna lie. I would 100% watch a spinoff where Melissa's Kara leaves for the future or something, and Izabela's Kara takes over the mantle, somehow.

It won't happen, of course. But that is how much I enjoy Izabela in this role.

Well...I hope for rain. BUT...it's all on timing. It's possible PIX11 will go to reruns of "Friends." Of course if the game gets rained out...well hope springs eternal.

You know I was thinking that Brainy looks like Leonard on the Big Bang Theory show. And why would these two need a disguise anyway.

I am so looking forward to seeing this episode with the two young actresses that portray Alex and Kara. As I've said before - I really think these two actresses are fantastic and I am still waiting for the spin off show of Midvale (which always has the possiblity of happening). I do realize that due to circumstances we will not see or we will see very little of Melissa in these two prom episodes. I do hope we get to see Eliza in these two episodes - I think Helen Slater is good and enjoy seeing her.

Speaking for myself only (so no need to quote me :lol:

)- I just cannot get into Brainy and Nia - I would have rather one of the other team members were in it; however, I'm sure they will provide entertainment and I will definitely be glued to the TV set to watch it because the young Alex and Kara ( and hopefully Eliza) wil provide a show worth seeing.

I only hope that these two episodes fulfill the need to provide the season solo quota for supporting staff and that the remaining episodes concentrate on Melissa, Chyler, David and Katie . It would be nice to see some of the season spent on four actors that started it all (would also like to see Winn and James come back - would be great for the show to end with the original cast for this season). Most of all, I hope we get to see Melissa in a SuperGirl action packed season (like season 1) farewell gift to her fans of her presence (and I mean a noticeable presence) in all the remaining episodes of season 6.

Izabela Vidovik and Olivia Nikkanen...will be amazing to see them again...but I guess it will have to be other than Tuesday 4/27 as there will be a Yankees/Orioles game that night on PIX 11...thing is this season has been AWFUL for the team.

A few years ago, my cable system had two then WB stations...WPIX and WTXX 20 in Waterbury, CT (now CW's WCCT). If 20 was back on the system I have now, problem solved. It is on two other systems.

But in this case I am waiting till perhaps Saturday 5/1 from 8:00-10:00 which bumps out 11's classic comedy block including the likes of All In The Family and The Honeymooners.

I'm so looking forward to this one.Some thoughts.

1)So it's the Legion ship that is used for the time travel.

2)What's with the glasses for Nia & Brainy?

3)The actress for young Cat looks like a young Calista Flockhart.

4)So looking forward to the interaction between Nia & Brainy and young Kara & Alex.

5)Will present day Alex and Kara remember the interaction?
