Tonight we have an all new episode of Supergirl and after last week, our Girl of Steel is trapped in the Phantom Zone. Today, The CW released 12 brand new images from episode three "Phantom Menaces". Judging from the photos, we aren't going to get a quick resolution for getting Kara back from that terrible place. That said, we can understand why that narative choice was made. It keeps Melissa isolated and more safe. Less contact with people takes her risk of Covid-19 way down and is healthier for her and her new born. Looking ahead to the images, M'Gann seems to be sticking around and she looks injured. That's not all, take a look for yourself below:

Honestly, I'm not expecting Kara to be out of the Phantom Zone until episode 6 or 7, as that's supposedly when she was able to catch up and rejoin the cast for ongoing episodes. And sadly, I'm also not expecting more than 5-10 minutes of Kara footage in any of episodes prior to her release from the PZ. I hope I'm wrong, but that's my educated guess.

We agree Kdogg87. Although I am noticing that Melissa is backfilling episodes she would not have appeared in, thus entering the PZ with the bang hairstyle but now in the PZ with the new hairstyle. Since she is doing alot of backfilling she may just surprise us all and be in all the beginning episodes with her Dad by her side since those episodes were also thrown off schedule by Covid 19. So we so far have seen her in Episode 1: Rebirth. Episode 2: A few good Women. I think we will also see her in he episodes that follow: Episode 3: Phantom Menaces. Episode 4: Lost Souls. Episode 5: Prom Night. Episode 6: Prom Again and Episode 7: Fear knot as well as the remaining episodes. I guess it depends on whether the writers wrote her into those beginning episodes or may be writing her into them now since she is there. Just pure speculation on my part - again, could this season be any cooler. This is one ride I am really enjoying.

Well, I was hoping that Kara would be rescued tonight but I kind of knew that it wasn't happening. I think, in my opinion, that Kara will be rescued closer to the Midvale episodes where Alex takes her home to recover - just like Kara took Alex home to Midvale to recover. After all there is no way anyone could come out of the PZ environment and not be a little mentally affected. Also Kara only has to appear for like 5 - 10 minutes in each of the two Midvale episodes so that we know what they are about through either Alex or Kara reminiscing so I feel she will at least appear in them for that long - after all only the writers know for sure how long she will appear in the two episodes.

In the pictures above for episode 3, the ones that strike me the most are those where Alex is clearly upset over Kara - now I know the show doesn't always involve Eliza in things but there is no way her daughter (Kara) would be stuck in the PZ and Eliza not be told about it. Again that is why I strongly feel the Midvale episodes will be recovery episodes for Kara and would just about be the time that Melissa would come back from Maternity leave.

One thing for certain I am enjoying the ride of this season, I know online where scenes from show are shown from Canada - looks like we will be seeing plenty of Melissa this season - so I am elated.

I'm curious myself how much time the parallel storylines will each get.We may have a better idea after tonight but I think it could vary episode to episode.Remember, there are rumors that Melissa dosnen't appear at all in the Midvale flashback episodes(5-6).

The photo of Lex meeting Lena in her office I find interesting.Guess he's not being held in custody.

I wonder who is in the 3th photo. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that he has something with the the House of El sign on his back

I am psyched about the PZ scenes. I do wonder how much screen time PZ will actually get.
