You spend 12 years of your life growing up in a culture that seems on the very cutting edge of technology and knowledge. Then, you spend 24 some years trapped in space. Even still, the next 15 years of your life is on a planet that the people look like you, but don't share your power or knowledge. Struggling where to go and what to call home certainly applies in this situation and from the look of this trailer for episode 321, Kara is going to make just such a choice. Moving back to Argo, however, we feel would only happen if Supergirl thought that Reign was defeated. When it turns out she isn't and Kara is gone, all hell breaks loose! And I am not looking forward to the tearful sister moments when Kara says she wants to go back. Just cause I don't want to cry lol. I saw someone mentioned she could be herself on Argo but she could always be herself around Alex...whether as Kara Danvers, Kara Zor El or Supergirl. Flaws and all.
The script certainly kept Alex's stunt double busy.
The future having been changed, with the Blight cancelled, Imra and Mon-El never married. They were just good friends.
Monty is going to give Imra the dear John letter in the finale. There are two things that I'm sure of and that's the pope is catholic and Monty and Kara will be an item. You have to be a blind person not to see the improvement of the show when they are side by side either fighting villains or just shooting the breeze. It's just a more enjoyable watch. Hey, I wonder if Chris is going to the opening show on broadway.
I was beginning to type that I was thinking her dreams came from the whole Kara randomly and accidentally intercepting communication between Reign and Selena? But then realized...its likely Reign has only been communicating with a "pre-programmed" hologram, after all, much like Alrua's; and, thus, Selena hasn't actually been aware what the World Killers have been up to as of late until Kara appeared? Maybe as Reign was awakening inside of Sam, Reign's "connection" with Kara awoke inside of Kara, as well, and caused Kara to subconsciously see events to come? Whatever it is, sure hope the writers don't forget to tie up that little loose end of the dream episode 1.
Even if there is an explanation for Alura's behavior, to our knowledge, it is still surprising they didn't go for this, as it would have provided a neat explanation for the reoccurring dreams Kara has been having all season.
I also wonder whether Alura will ever ask about her necklace.
After the episode I'm slightly more at peace with why Mon-El came along rather than Alex because I do not think Kara would have been as open saying the things she said about being herself and being Kara Zor-El if Alex was around. I'm sure this conversation between the sister will come in the next episode, but it makes sense that they would establish how Kara feels about this issue before the conversation happens.
Oh, OK- I guess that explains it. I must have missed that part last night! (I got an urgent phone call during the show...)
It was explained. Alura said she saw Kara's pod go off course and into the phantom zone. Furthermore Alura also said the Kryptonians in Argo City are unable to communicate outside the protective dome. The dome shielded the city but also isolated it, the DEO sensors didn't detect it. Alura thought Kara was dead and had no way to communicate outside the dome.
Staying on Earth 38 with Kara and his friends was and is always his choice.
Quoting Thalolli:
This is the opposite of what happened in the original Silver Age comics. In the comic-book version, Zor-El and Alura started the ball rolling by contacting Kara telepathically - in a recurring dream that she was experiencing, at first. (In the Silver Age comics, Kryptonians had limited telepathic abilities, and were able to mentally establish contact with other Kryptonians - but not humans.)
