Nominate Best Scene Season 2

We are making a lot of progress discovering the best aspects of Supergirl's second season! We've learned fans' favorite episode, favorite villain, best supporting actor, and now favorite guest star. The results were, drumroll please, 45.53% for Cat Grant! Superman gets the silver medal with 32.11% of the vote, and the CW's golden boy, The Flash, takes the bronze medal with 12.47% of the vote. With that now discovered, we are going to need your help for this next poll. Before we begin the voting process, we want to take your nominations for Best Scene from Season 2! This can be the fight between Superman and Supergirl, The escape from Slavers Moon, or Alex being comforted by Kara after Maggie turns her down, for example.

We will takes this moment to nominate the scene our lead image depicts, when Kara brings down the exodus ship with the support of Alex.

To make your nomination, and to be officially considered for the poll, please make your case and describe your exact scene in a comment below. We will review the comments on Friday and put together the poll for voting for BEST SCENE!

Just another scene I needed to mention: at the end of 2x08 when the rocket explodes and it looks like embers gently falling from the sky and Kara immediately looks over to J'onn (to check how he's doing) and then looks up into the sky with such a distressed look all over her face (since she thinks all aliens are going to be dead in a few seconds). just the way this scene was framed, with a visibly upset Kara surrounded by these snowlike embers is such a spectacular visual!

I agree, it was a scene with not a lot of dialogue, but definitely a lot of emotion.

It really was a beautiful scene. Both beautiful and tension filled.

A+ cinematography for that scene. And the bit after when Lillian finds out she's been tricked was priceless.
Had the last part with Lillian Luthor not been so obvious I might would agree with you but it was kind of anti-climactic for me because I figured that's exactly how it was going to go so there was no oh wow look at that twist it was pretty much meh.....
but the exchange between Kara and Jonn was really nice. Actually all of the exchanges between the two I believe there were three exchanges between them in this particular episode we're really well done.

I'm nominating the Superman-Supergirl fight from Nevertheless, She Persisted. Not only was it a really well-done superhero fight, but to achieve what they did on a CW TV budget (with the final fight with Rhea still to come) was exceptional.

Second nomination: Kara goes to Lena's event and immediately goes for the pot stickers.

2 excellent scenes...especially the pot sticker one...lol

Agreed. Any scene with Kara and food is usually funny and memorable.

I want to nominate the finale scene when Cat shows up on AF1. I nearly jumped out of my seat with joy. Cat makes this show what it is and s2 suffered without her.
