Sorry, I'm trying to focus and read the below comments, but that second video... I need to watch it again :)

I'd already heard part of "Super Friend" yesterday while watching an Entertainment Tonight backstage interview with Melissa and Grant, but there's a little bit of disconnect happening now for me because their singing in the ET video I saw didn't feel 'weird' but their singing in that Sneak Peek does.

Ohhh I like Melissa's cool voice for Moon River! :D

Yes, she really has that 40s and 50s "cool jazz singer" style down pat! Love to hear Melissa sing "Cry Me A River" the way Julie London did :)

Really looking forward to both Supergirl and Flash this week. Have always enjoyed musicals from movies to shows in London's West End / Broadway. I don't understand why so people or pretty much men hate musicals so much? I mean it is always a musical which is the biggest hit on Broadway i.e. 'Hamilton' and is one of the biggest reasons why tourists go to see theatre productions. Even big movie / TV stars have sung on stage from Ewan McGregor, Idina Menzel etc.

Melissa has a beautiful voice to match her personality and Grant has excellent dance moves. I would imagine this musical crossover will boost the Flash ratings even more - would be nice if the finale of some of the crossovers would occur on the supergirl set - since to be truthful, its supergirl that I mainly watch the crossovers for.

Yep Gene Grant Gustin does dance like Dick Van Dyke. I could see him doing "Step in Time" from Mary Poppins. Now that I think about it these two would do a killer version of "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".

From an Instagram post from Grant:

"Today at work I'm finishing Dick Van Dyke's memoir. One of the all time greats & an early inspiration for me. Thanks for the gift, Daaad."

Both tall and very slim, with heights within half an inch of each other.

I understand the Fred Astaire comparison; he influenced whole generations of singer/dancers.

Peace,
Gene
