The Menacing Music Meister has been cast and Glee fans are going to find themselves in a "GLEE-ful" mood. Glee alum, Darren Criss, has been tapped to take the part, TVline.com says. While many have been desiring the infamous Neil Patrick Harris to reprise his role in live action, this casting news feels just as fitting. Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg had this to say:
With our Flash and our Supergirl being Glee alums, how could we not have them go up against another Glee favorite like Darren Criss? We have been blown away by his talent over the years and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Music Meister.
Unlike last year's Flash and Supergirl crossover, it sounds like the majority of the singing will be on the Flash's side of the crossover with the action beginning at the end of Supergirl. While fans may feel disappointed that there isn't two full episodes, this is the kind of logistics that need to happen to keep the actors' time in a manageable way while keeping them available for their respective shows.

At least this takes away a little of the HUGE sting that once again, Supergirl is just used as a springboard for a crossover into the Flarrowverse.
A question for ex Gleeks. Did anyone else always want Blaine and Marley to interact more. They had such a nice chemistry and their voices sounded so good together that I always wanted them to do more duets. It would be awesome if they got to sing together again as Villain and hero.
Incidentally, the lyrics for their duet 'All or Nothing' could not be more perfect for Kara/Supergirl that you'd think it was written for Kara. Seriously, it's like the character's mission statement.
I'm going to just love this mini Glee reunion. And I bet some Glee fans will be tuning into the Flash Episode for the musical.
Funny, Grant's Glee character was a bad guy who had a thing for Darren's character.
Still so disappointed that Chyler won't be singing, but maybe we'll get a CD out of these eps! Some great voices will be singing!
I'm a bit late to the party, previous comments by others should express my excitement
Chris Colfer?
It ought to be an interesting set of episodes. I guess one will tag-team the other if the bulk of the singing will occur on the Flash. In my modest view, let's see how things go down. It might be a good mid-season interlude for both shows and will keep the viewership numbers up for both series.
