Midvale Trailer

This is the episode that we've been the most excited for so far this entire season! An entire episode that showcases how the Danvers sisters became the best sisters on TV today! Furthermore, the episode welcomes new Kara and Alex actors, Izabela Vidovic and Olivia Nikkanen respectively! Also, from the trailer we learned that Kara's birth mother, now played by Erica Durance, will also be making an important appearance! If that wasn't enough mother action for you, even Helen Slater is returning this episode! To cap it all off, we have a surprise about this episode too, but more on that later. For now, check out the trailer below:

Glad to see the new actress for Kara. The last one looked like a mini Jen Garner not Melissa.
So how much older is Alex than Kara? I always got the impression that Alex was at least 2 to 3 yrs older and if this is taking place a few yrs after coming to earth , Kara should be 15 to 16 yrs old and Alex already graduated? At least that was the impression I got from the pilot and first season ep.

Alex is 2 years older. If Kara is 16 a Sophomore or Junior depending on when they said her birthday was...., that would make Alex 18, a senior.

This is an episode that I have been wishing for, for the last 2 years. The what, why, when and how to the development of the sister relationship has been an enigma that has been crying for an answer. There is so much potential room to explore within the relationship that hopefully, this episode is just an introduction in that journey and we continue to get nibbles here and there throughout the rest of the season. But, I'm getting ahead of myself and I'm being a bit greedy :-).

I really enjoyed the previous actress who played Kara but, this new young lady looks remarkably like what a young Kara might have looked like.

Can't wait for this episode. This season has been FANTASTIC and I feel that one of the reasons is that we have more sister moments with dialogue. The writers listened and just as I criticized during season 2 when I felt they didn't have as many sister moments, it is only fair to thank them for giving us what we asked for this season. I also loved the fact that they are in J'onn's car because it shows how he thinks of them as daughters to entrust such a prized possession to them. There is such a closeness between the team this season. I love it.

Perfect response, jacksc01!

The most anticipated episode is finally at hand.
Oliva Nikkanen and Izabela Vidovic look to be great as the young ALEX and KARA.
The car is an absolute winner!!!
Love having the original KARA-HELEN SLATER-back as Eliza;looking forward to seeing an extended scene with ERICA DURANCE as Alura/Astra.
I believe this episode is a home run!!!
UP,UP AND FOR SUPERGIRL!!!
GO MELISSA!!! GO SUPERGIRL!!!

I'm loving this season so far after tonight's episode, and looking forward to next week's episode! Finally got to see the new young Kara and Alex as I have been eagerly awaiting for it.

I swear the first time I watched that scene where young Kara and Alex looks like they were rising up from a crevice or something, that it was Melissa on the right. After a second look, it was actually Izabela. OMG.

Hey hey hey... Looks like we're gonna get to see Kara finding joy in her powers, again. I've so so so missed that since Season 1.
