Supergirl is looking to add more of the Nal family to their cast line-up. Deadline.com is reporting that both Nia's Sister and her Mother have been cast to join the show. Hannah James is set to recur as Nia Nal’s older sister Maeve and Scandal alum Kate Burton will guest star as Nia’s mother Isabel. Maeve is described as driven and focused on maintaining the Nal family’s rich legacy. She and Nia have a strong sisterly bond, although Maeve has always had to work harder to achieve what comes naturally to Nia. As for Nia's mother, she is described as the warm and nurturing mother of Nia Nal, is a local hero in her own right. She is a wise and generous matriarch and has raised her family to be bold and courageous, as well as to love fiercely and openly.

You're not alone I have been noticed the huge drop in ratings since that so called season 3 finale episode ended the season 3 at 1.79, and look at what the heck happened with this week 4x05 episode ended with 1.12, which gives off ill omen vibe to me, that possibly the future of Supergirl look very bleak without Floriana Lima, Jeremy Jordan, Chris Wood, Calista Flockhart, Erica Durance
I'm sure others has noticed it as well. I don't know about that clueless Rover and Queller and the so called writers are aware of whats going on with the latest ratings on supergirl's season 4, despite of CW's announcement by moving Supergirl to that famous death slot on Sunday, thats what CBS did to my fave flasgship CSI: Crime Scene Investigation by moving it to different timeslot and went ahead to renew CSI Cyber instead and cancelled CSI for 16th season its like Deja Vu all over again
Get back to the core group of characters and use decent plot lines and story arcs to keep viewers, not flash-in-the-pan one-offs.
That said, the parallels between Nia and her sister with Kara and Alex are fairly obvious here. I just hope that it doesn't become a Kara/Alex 2.0 story situation because we've already been down that road.
I would love to see Helen Slater and Dean Cain. We need them back; they have plot lines that have been left behind somewhere.
