Jeremy Jordan Set as Recurring Star

Many may have already felt this coming but included with the news that Jesse Rath's Brainy is going to be a series regular, Jeremy Jordan's Winn is going to step down as a regular and instead shift to a recurring role. Fans will note this was true for the show's Floriana Lima going into season 3. How Jeremy will be used and if he will be on the show sporadically or all at once then gone is still unknown. TVline.com broke the news and quoted showrunners, Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner saying:

We love Jeremy, and even though he’s [not going to be around full-time], we’re not saying goodbye to Winn at all. We’re already breaking big stories for him right now for the fall, and I think the fans will be excited to see what he has coming up.

Huge amount of people say this is the series finale. People are pissed about these spoilers is true.

Not the series finale, Supergirl has a fourth season green lit already.

Thats true. But people are so pissed if these spoilers come true they will stop watching. A lot of people watch because of Chris Wood He is a huge CW Star and gathered many fans over the years.

People have said the same about Cat Grant, Maggie, heck even Lucy Lane. As long as Melissa is Supergirl, we've got a show!

Yeah think so too. But do you know if these rumours are true in any way ?

*sighs* Let the "SKY IS FALLING" screams of fear and anguish begin. :zzz

I wouldn't be surprised if this is happening on social media. For me, would it be anguish and so on to say that this will be a bitter pill to swallow...but one that must be done so to speak?

Sorry to hear this, Winn is one of my favorite characters and really adds a lot to the show. I hope we'll continue to see him on a regular basis and he doesn't just vanish.

Not surprised at all since he, Chris and David are the three I’ve seen rumored to be leaving, and the rumor of Jesse joining full-time was from the same source, so as soon as news about Brainy came out, news about Jeremy was pretty well expected by me.

I will miss Jeremy, but he’s been doing Tangled, and Broadway, and he has a wife who doesn’t live in Vancouver, so it’s not exactly surprising that he’d want a change when he’s never been a “main character”. David is also not a native and has family back in England, so his departure won’t be a shock. Chris supposedly has some other irons in the fire, so again, it won’t be a big surprise. People saying this is totally unusual? What’s unusual is for a show to switch networks and shooting locations. The fact they held onto as much cast as they have is the real surprise.

Losing Demos even with the technology Winn had given him was a huge blow to Winn and it's going to take time to come back from that ... stay strong, Winn!

" I understand that Vancouver was never "home" to Jeremy. He has other commitments, his presence was already reduced when the show moved"

Come to think of it, that may be one of the reasons that the location of most of the action in the show seemed to be moved from CatCo to the DEO building in Season 2....
