There are only 4 hours to go until the second episode of Supergirl's third season airs on the East Coast! We couldn't be more excited! After seeing a couple of sneak peeks from the episode we are pretty amped up to see just how strong Psi is going to be. Of course, one way to get a very good clue about how tonight's episode is going to go, is to hear from the Executive Producers themselves! Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner return to their Inside Look segment to give a particularly special perspective on tonight's episode:

No telling what will happen with these writers. The Berlanti curveballs are waiting for me to take them for a called third strike. I hope that doesn't happen to my Yankees who will be in competition w/SG as they play the Astros in crucial game 3 of the AL Championship Series, which will be on Fox Sports 1, not the Fox network. So that could help things for ratings; then again I like listening on the radio to WFAN 660 the Yanks flagship.
So I am hoping for a good episode before next week's disaster and Let's Go Yankees! That would be a great double play.
And I think it's too early in the season for this to happen. Wait till sometime later, say after the crossover to pull the trick. Then again the more these disappearances keep happening the more this will build up.
Like I said in the sneak peek news section, I'm thinking that Kara's greatest fear is losing Alex/her family. Alex is the most important person in Kara's life so it only makes sense (to me) that Kara would be terrified to ever lose Alex.
I just remembered that Erica Durance did a q&a today so I'm wondering if that means Alura will be seen again tonight. And if she is then maybe she's a part of whatever Psi makes Kara see. So maybe losing Alex isn't (completely) Kara's greatest fear.
I think the net is learning that some casual viewers need to be reminded more closer to the broadcast night, so the clips don't get lost in the weekend news cycle. Monday nights are already pretty competitive right now, with sports and live competition shows getting much of the attention, as usual....and of course, The Big Bang Theory is back on Mondays, now directly competing as well.
In any case, it's always nice to see Jessica and Robert introduce an episode.
Kara and Supergirl are one and the same. That should make for interesting TV.
They didn't let that drop....
