The more I hear about the episode the more excited I'm getting for it....I'm not even caring that adult Kara and Alex will not be the central focus of the episode.

Y'know something Kelly...neither am I. Looking forward to something that sounds like Nancy Drew meeting with Candy Matson. Now if you do not know who that last name is, engine search this character from the golden age of radio and...tune in online to some episodes.

The producers seem to have found a clever way to be Danvers-sister-centric without just Melissa and Chyler. We already know Kara is a Nancy Drew fan so the background of a mystery fits. I can't imagine the rest of the cast will play a big part in this episode, so everyone gets a break before crossover filming starts. Or maybe the adults are simultaneously filming E7, that would be an effective use of time. Filming all four crossover episodes will probably go into early November.

Glad Helen is returning and nice casting for the episode. I hope they adapt the Supergirl comic story Being Super as a sequel to Midvale.

If they do a Jeremiah story line I hope they close that story line out. It has been drawn out far too long IMO.

Kelly I so agree with you - the Jeremiah story line has gone on long enough, it's time for a conclusion.

Helen Slater Returns - That is like sweet music to my ears, as a fan of Helen's it's always a pleasure for me to see her on the show. I'll look forward to this episode even more now knowing she'll be in it. If Episode 7 is another Thanksgiving episode it's now tradition for Helen to be in those so here's hoping. Could be time for a Jeremiah story-line by then which would affect Eliza.

I want to see Helen Slater in a bigger role, not necessarily more episodes....but more of a story line for her.

Wonderful but not unexpected news about Helen returning. This "Midvale" episode is shaping up nicely. I wonder if this means no Thanksgiving episode or hopefully there's a way for Helen to film those scenes during a single trip to Vancouver.

I'm not sure they would have time for a Thanksgiving scene since this time Ep. 8 is actually a real part of the crossover....but hey, they do have to eat. lol

Unless Thanksgiving is part of S3E7 "wake up" which should air the Monday before Thanksgiving. Logistically that would make it easier for Helen. What if at the end of "Midvale" Eliza goes back to National City with her girls. I like the Thanksgiving episodes, Kara and food scenes will never get old.

I'm really excited for it. I wonder if every other character only cameos at the beginning and end. I hope Winn, James etc. don't get a B story in this episode. So the whole focus is on Kara/Alex.

Yeah, I'm hoping that it begins with Kara and Alex taking a rode trip, and then the flashback story, and then back to Kara and Alex. IMO, any other story line would be wasting valuable Midvale story time.
