Why isn't Kara helping the firefighters deal with the ongoing wildfires in California? It seems that the show's writers like timely references (references to current events). Now this is something that seems totally appropriate for a California-based superhero to be doing now - and something that I would expect her to be doing!

Don’t know what you mean by this. But the ep we watch now has been filmed months ago. Its not real time. And i do not think they will include it on the show. Most of The season been written already.

Yes, I guess that's right, isn't it? :)
(No, I wasn't being serious....)
Well, at least I can include it in my own fan fiction stories (like I did during the California wildfires a couple of summers back)

Yes, I am in fact planning to write a story about Kara helping to fight the California wildfires, in the manner that I imagine she would. And needless to say, there can be no doubt that Lex Luthor would try to take advantage of the situation for his own nefarious purposes. Can the Supergirl Team figure out exactly what Lex is up to, and find a way to put a stop to it? Well, of course they can! But perhaps not in the way that most readers might expect :)

I started on my new "Supergirl fights the California wildfires" (and foils another Lex Luthor plot) story tonight. I should have it done by Sunday night, and then I'll post it a link to it (on my Facebook page) here :D
