Why did Charlie (EmergencyAwesome) stop making videos of Supergirl?

"New member" Triggy here back asking a question in the forum (lol).

Is there anyone here who subscribes to the Youtube channel EmergencyAwesome? It seems like Charlie completely stopped featuring Supergirl despite the show being an integral part of the CW Arrowverse - I remember way back Rschick tweeted back at him about it. Does anyone know why?

What's even more off putting is it's now common knowledge that the upcoming crossovers will be Supergirl-centric. At least there's still Pagey, but I like Charlie's eye on easter eggs and quick references to obscure DC comics history.

Charlie claimed in a video it didnt give enough views, which I dont really buy. I think it is because the show doesnt have as much 'cool' comic book meat as the other shows do like flash which is presented almost like a comic book come to life. I mean the audience he caters to wouldnt care about half the scenes in the premeire sadly.

Thank you Rschick! I was hoping you'd be the one to answer the question :)

Yes I also think he's got his own hidden reasons about not covering Supergirl, but he has to mention her sometimes (which I think he does occasionally) if he wants to address the connection between the shows.

Thanks for the links - the first and third I will check out. I subscribe to DCTVshow because he seems to be really focused on Supergirl.

Only that they don't appear on their list of videos. There's Arrow, Legends and The Flash (including this week's Episode 2) but no Supergirl.


they combine Legends and Supergirl in the same video. they have time stamps for easy viewing.

Charlie has never been one to talk up the show, exceptions being crossovers and the episodes where Superman makes an appearance. Just not his cup of tea, I think.

AVR on Jawiin is who you want, on that I will agree. She loves the show and will be more congenial to the fans that like the show.

Afterbuzz TV is good as well.
