Hi,

I found this little article. I agree with the reasoning but still believe when dealing with iconic images, it's a toss up as to who or what makes more sense.

Be nice but have at it below. :)

Edit: Note - In the interest of fairness and board harmony, I'll not be commenting on this topic since I tend to hold somewhat highly critical views in this regard that some members find off-putting.

Echoing my thoughts from a previous thread, I prefer the skirt from an aesthetic standpoint, but fully understand the need for the change, and overall, I think it looks okay. Not amazing, but okay. I do wish they'd done more to break up the blue somewhere in the hips. Perhaps thrown in some red accents on the hips or legs. It would even help if they'd let the gold piping continue down the legs, instead of stopping at the hips. But that's some nit picking.

As for Wonder Woman 1984, I'm confident that the armored look isn't what we'll have though the entire movie. I'm imagining it's something she'll wear for some sort of "final confrontation".

Agree the characters do not need skirts.

Disagree that the revamped designs hit all the right marks. WW84 in particular looks like a disaster to me. Still better than the 1960s white jumpsuit, though. And the 1990's biker costume. And Cathie Lee Crosby's tv getup.

SG is fine. It has the same strengths and weaknesses as Tyler's Superman costume, being largely the same idea.
