I liked the season 2 finale, but there was one thin in particular that left me a bit ticked of. What happened to J Danvers at the end of episode 2x15? Did Henshaw kill him?
If you ask me, the papa Danvers subplot was not handled very well. Will we see his final fate in season 3?

Yeah, my first thought was that he died in the explosion at CADMUS in Exodus, but if so Lillian would have said so when asked. So maybe he used it as an opportunity to escape? But he didn't contact his family, (unless he's back in Midvale with Eliza, and she failed to mention it)
My guess is that he is on the run and hiding from both the DEO and CADMUS.
They kind of wrote themselves into a corner with him, they can't realistically have him reunite with his family at this point without an obnoxious amount of melodrama. I guess they could make him a full on villain, but they would have to come up with a motive for that.
They had the perfect opportunity to have him make a heroic sacrifice in the season 2 finale but they didn't take it. (it also would have given them the chance to have Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher on screen together) I guess Dean Cain wasn't available when they were shooting 2-22, Because having Jeremiah make a heroic sacrifice, and bite it in the finale would be the most logical way to tie up that story line.
Don't assume malice when stupidity is an adequate explanation. At least, not the first time.

Perfectly worded there, Fedguy. Right on the money.

By making Jeremiah a "disappeared dad", the show kind of painted itself into a corner.

If you have the sisters logically following up every lead to find him, other plotlines grind to a halt. If they don't, it looks out of character for the sisters.

If he's found, you have to book Dean Cain, who's not a regular cast member, and it logically means you need Helen Slater to play Eliza, because she would obviously come to find out what happened to her husband.

If you permanently bring him back, why wouldn't the DEO keep him around, even under watch, as a source of information on Cadmus?

And if you kill him off, you tick off a lot of fans and leave the sisters feeling like they failed their parents.

The logistics and story considerations are a pain in the (Kryptonian) pod.

I met Helen Slater and Dean Cain yesterday at the Birmingham NEC show. Helen said she was going back for more episodes later in the year and Dean said he was not allowed to say then winked and laughed, I think its safe to say he will be back in season 3. Both were lovely, Dean had huge crowds come to see him and spent a while with everyone he met. :)

It has been a great couple of weeks. I won't know what to do with myself this weekend!
Wish I could have met David Harewood a couple of weeks ago.
I took a couple of photos it was a bit more difficult as they didn't really want you to take any photos without booking a photo opp but Dean Cain let me get a quick selfie, he's a great guy. :D IMG_1991.jpg

I wish they would write subplots for the people that can be in Vancouver to film when needed....rather than them seeming to write subplots according to when the actor can appear. If they are unable to appear in pretty much any episode then IMO they shouldn't be a part of a major subplot. Dropping the search for Jeremiah was just weird.
