Going OT...what's to do this summer...TV wise. Many of us will be watching Supergirl reruns on demand or on the CW app...though most of this season was unbearable until Luthor came along. If I were to re-watch an episode, it would have to be Oh Brother Where Art Thou?

As for me TV wise...well I'll be watching the Stanley Cup Finals...and rooting for the Boston Bruins...that's on NBC. On YES, which is the Yankees channel, I'll be watching my baseball team try to make a run for the pennant, though Kelly your Astros in Houston are back to being formidable. Also, some of the games will be on Supergirl's NYC station, WPIX channel 11.

As for ABC...well, as you know or not, I am a game show FREAK. And for the last three or four summers ABC has put out their line-up of game shows like Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid and Match Game. Well, two new classics have gotten a reboot and are joining the Summer of Games.

One of them is Card Sharks...the classic hi-lo card game from the 70's and 80's where a turn of the cards could mean more than $500,000...but it won't be easy at the new Money Cards which is the shows bonus game and my favorite of all time.Joel McHale takes the hosting spot used by the likes of the late Jim Perry and Bob Eubanks.

The other is Press Your Luck...the 1983-86 favorite is back with BIGGER Bucks...and those mean old Whammies. Three contestants answer questions to earn spins at the big board which has thousands in cash and prizes, and those red creatures which if you stop on one...you lose everything. Four of them...and you're gone. Peter Tomarken (RIP) hosted this wild game for CBS. But now the whammies will be under control of Elizabeth Banks of Pitch Perfect fame.

If you are unfamiliar with these shows, or want to see them again, tune in to the channel BUZZR, which airs these classics. You can watch the channel online or at Pluto TV

Enjoy the off time.

Well, for one - I'm planning to write more Supergirl fan fiction stories, and post links to them here. Hopefully, that will help - in a small way - to get some of you through to the beginning of the next season!

Great idea for a thread, RobertAnthony!

I have fond memories of the original Press Your Luck. "Big bucks! No Whammies! Stop!" :D

Most of my newly "free" time will be devoted to cryptography--solving various ciphers and creating them for my fellow enthusiasts to solve. Great fun, and it helps keep the mind sharp.

I am also finally beginning a run-through of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, every episode. I missed huge chunks of the series during its initial airing.
