I wanted to see Watchmen when it first came out but don't have access to HBO. The issue is going to be having the time to watch it all while it's free.

All nine episodes of Watchmen will be streamable for nonsubscribers on HBO.com and other on-demand services starting Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21.
I couldn't find out if this offer extends outside the US.

Yes! I was hesitant, but I have been watching today. 3 episodes in, its good. I just fear it may end on a cliffhanger and there isn't a season 2 planned.

I watched the show as it aired on HBO and I just recently got the Blu Ray set.Great series.Yes,as of now, there are no plans for a season 2.Damon Lindelöf was only interested in doing the one season but would have no problem if another creator came in to do a second season.Sort of make it a anthology type series. But HBO doesn't want to do a season 2 unless Lindelöf does it.

No spoilers, but IMO it does wrap up its storylines but there is a little tease that is sort of along the lines of how The Dark Knight Rises ended. It works as a final statement but could also be seen as setup for a new story depending on your point of view.

@Comic fan... I finished watching. Very well done. Yes, I think it was resolved for the most part but set up a season 2 should hbo want to revisit.

I finished it last night. I enjoyed it and am glad HBO made it available. There is a conclusion while at the time not closing the door for more. According to this article from Vanity Fair it doesn’t look like a second season is in the works. HBO isn’t gonna do it without series creator Damon Lindelof who seems to want to move on to other projects. Here’s an interview with (spoiler warning)Damon .
