Dang...occasional Supergirl director Larry Teng is suspected to have the virus. Brit Morgan (Livewire) is his partner, and she posted about it. Its not officially diagnosed because there aren't enough tests, but his doctor thinks it's Covid.

Definitely sending well wishes to both Larry and Brit.

@LibertyPrime

I appreciate the shout out in the initial post. Things are indeed getting a bit crazy up here. But school continues, at least for now. We're getting daily updates on that front.

It's crazy to think that most (if not all) TV productions here in Vancouver have come to a halt. For the health of casts and crews, I'm glad they did this. But I hope they, and any other institutions that closed, are able to open again after a month or so. Anyone infected should start showing symptoms within about 20 days. So hopefully these actions being taken by the US, Canada, and other nations will allow them to prevent the spread while helping eliminate the virus from those currently infected, and reduce this from a pandemic status, and will reduce the infection to the point where schools and businesses can start returning to somewhat normal.

Supergirl has shut down production as well.

Additionally, TVLine has learned that Supergirl has also halted production as a safety precaution. The following is an official statement from Warner Bros. Television Group:

"With the rapidly changing events related to COVID-19, and out of an abundance of caution, Warner Bros. Television Group is halting production on some of our 70+ series and pilots currently filming or about to begin. There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 on any of our productions, but the health and safety of our employees, casts and crews remains our top priority. During this time, we will continue to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control as well as local officials and public health professionals in each city where our productions are based."

TVLine’s up-to-date list of the series shutting down production as a result of coronavirus has been updated to include The Flash, Lucifer and Supergirl.

Per Deadline Flash just shutdown too.

Just saw that.I think Legends already finished.Batwoman is probably in the same boat as Flash and still had a month of shooting left.I would expect them to shut down too.

Supergirl is/was about to start filming the last episode of the season since they were finishing a month early due to having 20 episodes instead of 22..Melissa's pregnant so they need to be careful.I do wonder if they are going to try to finish this last episode though.Unless there is a big down swing with the virus,I can't see them doing that rumored season 6 shooting in mid-April.

Not overly surprising. This is / was bound to happen given the scope and magnitude of the pandemic. We'll see more productions slow down / halt early or be canned until the pandemic has passed. Could be weeks, could be months. We'll all soon find out.

Yes,this is a major concern for everyone.I think Tom Hanks and his wife testing positive for the virus made it real for a lot of people.Now seeing what's happening in the sports world and Hollywood is showing how serious we have to take this.I'm wishing everybody who produces our favorite entertainments the very best in this tough time.
